There's Power In The Word (Part 2)

Good morning? Afternoon? Evening? OHHHH wait I know what it is. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Okay, I know that was really random, but that's what came to mind, so I ran with it. I mean it is someone's birthday, somewhere. Anyway, this week we will be going through verses 9-16 in Psalms 119. At the end of this post, will be the link to the first part, so if you haven't read that yet, head over there and be sure to read it.

Let's get into the passage! (All scripture is from the King James Version)

9) Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.

10) With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11) Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12) Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

13) With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14) I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15) I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16) I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Today's Power Verse is going to be...

A little look into my Bible...XDD

VERSES...9 and 11, we'll touch on 10, but these are the main two.

So in verse 9 we see a question. "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?" Along with the answer right after it.

How do we cleanse our way? by taking heed to God's word. Heed means to pay attention, careful attention.

As Christians we are to pay careful attention to the Bible. We should never take the words He's given us lightly. Verse 11 gives us a clue as to why; we should pay close attention to what God has to say.

We should because it's helps us from sinning. We cleanse our heart with God's word (John 17:17) This is how we are sanctified, simply meaning set apart for God's use.

As Christians we are called out from this world and it's pleasures and called to do something greater. We're called to make a difference in eternity. In our own lives, and in others. The things of this world are wrong and we are supposed to keep ourselves from the worlds ways, ideas, and actions. We do this by being in the Bible on a regular basis, renewing our minds. (Romans 12:2)

If we know what the Bible says about sin, then we will be guilty for sin when we do, because we know it's wrong, but we make the ultimate choice to go ahead and do it anyway. (I really hope this is making sense)

That was a lot for verse 9, so I'll keep verse 10 and 11 short. Verse 11 says, "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Like I said before, it's so we don't sin against God. The way we keep it in our heart is by memorizing it! We may think it's hard or boring to memorize the Bible, but we memorize songs, phone numbers, and addresses, so why can't we memorize verses? It really comes down to if you want to, or not..

I struggled with memorizing verses, then I found out I could make into a song. That changed things for me! I also have wrote the verses in my room on paper, so when I woke up, sat at my desk, or walked in the door. I was forced to see them. It only takes a few minutes a day, you'll know a lot of verses by the end of month, year, or life.

Verse 10 explains, that David sought for God, so that he would not wander from what God had said.

Challenge:
In the next two weeks, try to read your Bible everyday, even if it's just a chapter. Just try to get into it. Also, I would like to challenge you to memorize at least one verse. It can be anything.

Last challenge was to write at least one thing God has done for you. I wrote two down, which are here.

So yes, I participated in the challenge too. I learned that God even cared for me in the little things, even when it came to my guitar.  Let me know if you did. If not, you can join on in this week's challenge.

Uh-Oh!

Hey guys!

I’m afraid I can’t make a post tonight, due to the fact that I’ve recently taken on some work — you know, work-work, not AJ-work — and it’s taken a lot more out of my day than I anticipated. As put by my mom, “it has to take priority over online activities” (and, unfortunately, offline sleep).

I’m really sorry about this! I have to confess, I’m not sure if I’ll have the time to make weekly blog posts in the future. (I never thought “aging out” of Animal Jam stuff could be forced by schedules and time management.) I’ll be discussing it with Gracie, of course... I just thought I should mention it here so that if I do end up leaving, it’s not a whole sudden “oh hey guys guess what this is my last post ever, goodbye!!”

Because that would stink.

If I do leave, I’ll be sure to make one last drawing-post. 😉

I will see you guys next week! I’m sorry, and bye!

Psalm 128:2
“You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.”

PEACE!
LOVE!

Rare Item Monday!

Hey, Jammer’s! It’s CoolCat here with another post! I forgot to say this last week, but it’s finally September! Fall is fast approaching and soon the holiday season will start! I can’t wait for fall. I love the cooler weather fall brings. This is a random question but what is your favorite food to eat during the fall months? I would have to say mine is soup and squash! Speaking of soup, we are having soup for dinner tonight. What are you having for dinner tonight? But anyways, let’s get started with today’s post!

Today’s Rare Item Monday for Animal Jam is the Rare Winged Collar!

Thoughts: I absolutely love this weeks Rare Item Monday! The winged collar is dark brown mixed with light brown swirls, and it has white wings. I love the design of this item! It looks so cool to me!! If I could change one thing though it would be the color of the actual collar. But overall I love it! I rate the winged collar a 9.5!

Now let’s move onto Play Wilds Rare Item Monday.

The Rare Item Monday for Play Wild is the Rare Winged Helmet!

Thoughts: I don’t love it as much as the winged collar, but it’s still a great item! The helmet is pink and red with purple wings. I think the red throws it off a bit, but it’s nothing major. Overall it’s a nice item! Overall I rate it a 7!

I hope you guys enjoyed today’s post! Stay tuned for next week! Here is today’s verse.

[The Lord says] “Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” -Isaiah 46:4

As always, bye Jammer’s! And -Jam On!-

See you in a few months!

Heey guys, this post is difficult to write but I feel like I need to do this.
I'm going to be taking a hiatus for a few months.
I promise you I'm not going to quit for a long time.
I just need a little break! And sense we just got two new authors I though it'd kinda be a good time.
This hiatus won't last very long, 4 months the longest.
I will  post a update once a month on Trump and a few things on my life
I will still try to come on Animal Jam sometimes. And I will be on Google hangouts almost the usual amount. And I will still be reading all blog post and commenting.
The reason for this is:
I've been kinda stressed with posting lately.
I've been really busy.
I have a dog now and these months are really important training time for him.

So this is kind of goodbye for a bit.

See you in a few months!

Struggling with Anxiety and Depression

Hi guys! This isn't really a post i'd post about, but I feel like it needs to be addressed. This post is mostly for me to look back on when I have Anxiety and Depression, but it also is for you guys of course! So, lately I've been struggling with Anxiety and Depression a lot. One thing I've learned, is that you have to keep fighting. It's hard to do, but it's true. Sometimes you feel like you just want to give up, but don't do it. You have to pray, and tell God all your struggles. Here is a bible verse.
1 Peter 5:7 (King James Version)
''Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.''
This is a very good verse for Depression and Anxiety, because sometimes you feel like nobody cares about you, and what's the point to life. Here is a song.

I hope this video works, if it doesn't copy this link https://youtu.be/RHCiwOK814o
As Joel Smallbone said in the video, this song was written since somebody had depression. I feel like a lot of people have depression, and some people probably think that they got depression just because, but in some cases, that's really not true. The reason why you get depression and anxiety, is because of your thoughts. When you think on those things, you should pray to God to get the thoughts out of your head, and carry on. Sometimes Depression and Anxiety can cause to suicide. Here is another video from For King and Country.
If you don't have Depression nor Anxiety, please just speak to those who have depression. Sometimes it makes you feel better if you just tell someone about it. Feel free to comment down below if you have depression, or anxiety. Both is fine too, but if you don't have any you can comment down below a sweet comment to those who have it. I decided to create a depression and anxiety movement. If you support it, jag me on Animal Jam saying I support, or you can say in the comments #Anxiety&Depressionmovement. I really feel like this needs to go out here, because suicide has been happening a lot, and a lot of times it's because of depression and anxiety! 2 reasons why people get depression is because of this..
1. Thoughts. I already explained this earlier, but this is where A LOT of anxiety and depression comes from.
2. Bullying. Bullying is a really big deal. Now, most of us have gone back to school, and that's really where a lot of the bullying comes from. The people who bully you, are most and likely just trying to lift the burden off of themselves, and put it on you. Stop bullying today.
If you have anymore thoughts of this topic, please comment it down below.
If you know someone who has/had depression, ask them some tips to get through the fight. Depression and Anxiety is literally basically a war in your head, and that's all you focus on. If you are having suicidal thoughts, call 1-800-273-8255. If you guys have anxiety and depression, i'd recommend listening to God Only knows and Light it up everyday. Anyway, lets support each other. Bye guys.

1 Peter 5:7 (King James Version)

''Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.''

Fight, stay strong, and carry on.
