Cards For Christmas

Heyyyy y'all! So, this goes along with House322's blog post yesterday, which was gift ideas for Christmas! This time, we are making cards. A lot of people just buy cards at the stores, which are fine, but if you want to spend some less money and a little bit more time, you can create your own handmade cards!! These are always so special to give out to people, and will put you in the Christmas spirit when creating them.

Alright! So, here we go!

1. Jesus Is The Reason For The Season

I actually did this last year, and it was so easy. For people like me who happen to have a lot of people in mind to make cards for this season, you need something more basic and easy to create. This is simply writing in red, Jesus Is The Reason For The Season. It's a simple message that explains the reason why Christmas is CHRISTmas. So, if you want to go an easier route, this is the way to go!!

2. Wreath

I don't know if it's just me, but I love looking at wreaths. I think wreaths are soooo beautiful, and are such a Christmassy thing! Of course, the classic ones... I know they have ones for spring, and fall. I'm not sure if they have any for Summer... but anyway, that's besides the point. Well, you can draw a wreath on the front of the card!! It's simple, basic, and easy. All you do is draw a circle, draw a little bow... and obviously, make the little leaves, and that is it!!

3. Christmas Tree

Obviously, this is a classic! Just draw a simple pine tree, with some ornaments and a little star or angel on top. It will look beautiful!!! Then, if you want, you can just do a little "Merry Christmas" at the bottom of the Christmas tree. Oh, and don't forget to add gifts!

4. Gifts

You can create little presents! These always look ADORABLE. Just draw little boxes with some ribbon around them!

5. The Nativity Scene

For some reason, I always tend to leave the hardest idea at the end. Just like two days ago, when I did the post about nails. I left the hardest one for the end 🤣🤣 The Nativity Scene is the reason why it's Christmas. God, manifested in the flesh, was born for us, then later died for us. Focusing on the birth of Christ is also important, because if He wasn't born, He couldn't have died. If He didn't die, our sins wouldn't be washed away and we couldn't go to Heaven. If you can create a silhouette of the nativity scene, or manger scene, whatever you'd like to call it... it may get somebody's eyes set on what the whole season/holiday is about.

Well, that's it for Blogmas Day 8, y'all!!! Thank you very much for reading. Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season!!!!

 Luke 2:4 KJV

"And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)"

Gifting Ideas 🎁 (Blogmas Day 7)

Hey everybody! It's sooooo good to see y'alll today!😁 Today I'm going to be going a few gift ideas for friends and family. We all have people in our life that don't really tell us what they want. Then we're left with trying to find something for them and that can be really hard, especially when there is shortages, such as this year.

1) Games

Now, I know not everybody are game players, but it's definitely an idea. I know this I got a board game for a family, who happens to be my best friends. They are big Star Wars fans, so I got them a board game that is centered around that. Don't worry, they don't read this blog, so the surprise won't spoiled.

Maybe your friends or family are not into board games, there is other options, such as Play Station, XBOX, Nintendo Switch; these are gaming consoles that you can buy for. Depending what games you buy you may be able to find some really good deals on them, if you look hard enough. I know a ton of places just had them on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Even places like arcades could fall into this category.

2) Customized Products

You can order things such as bracelets, earrings, necklaces, mugs, and so much more that are actually customized. My personal favorite place to look for things like this is either on Etsy or Ebay. You can also get blankets done with pictures at Walmart, where they have a lot more customized items as well. It's super simple too! Just get on the website, upload your photo(s), and wait for the package to come to your door. Another fun thing to customize are phone cases! In a world, where technology rules our lives it's so fun to have a little personal touch, but still functional at the same time. I know Yankee Candle also had a thing where you could upload photos onto a candle of your choice. The options are really endless with this one.

3) Ornaments

A lot of us have tree and decorate for the Holidays. It's really fun to go to places like Hallmark, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or even places like Khols or Bed Bath and Beyond for cute and fun ornaments. I know last week I went to Hobby Lobby for a tree skirt, and came out with several cute oranments! I know that may not be everyone's thing, and that's okay. There's a lot of gifts to go around.

4) Nail/Hair/Massage Certificate

Again, depending on who you're planning for, but if there is a woman in your like you may want to treat her to a nail/hair/ or even massage appointment. I think everyone can tend to let themselves go around the Holidays, just getting wrapped in all the festivities that they forget to take care of themselves. You can totally surprise them with this type of appointment to allow them to reset, especially at the end of the year!

5) Restaurant Gift Cards

Gift cards in general are a great gift, although it's probably better to come up with something better, so it totally doesn't look like you waited until the last minute to get something. However, if you really don't know what to get them, or you did simply waited until the last minute. This is a great thing to give. You're able to set the price most times and it is really is nice to have free dinner some nights, where you don't have to cook, nor pay out of pocket. #Adulting

Well, there's some ideas. I know it's kind of broad, but with gifts they are very personal. Definitely not one size fits all, so I really wanted to cover a wide range of categories. Be sure to simply listen to what they say, you may be able to find something that they may like, and be sure not to put too much pressure on yourself to find that "perfect gift." We should be able to make it fun and enjoy the fact that we have the opportunity and money to give, not making it about who can out give another. As I know sometimes that happens.

Well, one last thing before I head off. I wanted to share what inspiration I got from my sister's post yesterday...
I did some Candy Cane inspired nail art. Figured you all would enjoy seeing that.🤣

Anyways, I should let you guys go now...see you on Thursday!

Christmas Nails! 🎄💅

  Christmas Nail Ideas!

HEY Y'ALL! Welcome back to Blogmas Day 6!! I am so excited to be doing a Christmas Nails post for the holiday!!

1. Red French Tip Manicure

I would say most of us know what french tips are, which basically is just when you paint your tips of your nail white. To change this up, you can do red instead! If you want to be even more extra, you can add a little bit of glitter on top of that. Seal with a topcoat, and it'll be beautiful and festive!!

2. Red & White Swirls

Lately, it has been pretty popular to draw little swirly lines on to your nail. It looks beautiful against your natural nail color. Instead of doing just white, you can use both red and white. Another option as well, would be a beautiful emerald green color!

3. Basic Red

Red is such a beautiful color, and I think it all reminds us of the holiday season! It looks perfect against any skin tone, and there's lots of colors that can go with it.

4. Christmas Trees

For people who like to go a little bit more complex, these nail designs are just for you. You can do a light green nail color or even white, and then draw a cute little Christmas tree! To make it even more special, you can put some ornaments on it! Fake, of course. 🤣 I wouldn't recommend attaching ornaments onto your nail... I'm not sure if you could even do that, you'd have to use a nail drill- anyway, moving on. 🤣

5. Candy Canes

This is super easy, and looks beautiful! All you have to do is use white as your base color, let it dry, and then add red diagonal stripes! It makes it look like candy canes, and they are perfect for the holiday. I actually did these for Christmas last year, and they were really pretty!

6.Christmas Lights

Christmas lights always make the holiday even brighter. Ha! Anyway... You can do any base color that you would like, (except black, that probably would be hard to do unless you used white as the color for the lights) and then draw little strands of lights! In order to make the lights, you can use some festive colors and do some little dots!

7. Snowmen!

It is literally so much fun to do little snowmen! As long as you have a dotting tool, all you have to do is just take some white nail polish and draw 3 round circles. Then, use some black nail polish for the buttons made out of coal, and some more for the eyes. You can even add some orange in there for the nose if you would like, and if you want to be even more extra, feel free to add a little hat to top it all off!

8. Midnight Blue with Gold/Foil

I think we all can agree that the sky at night looks absolutely beautiful when the stars are clearly visible. So, who wouldn't want to create something similar on your nails? Take a deep blue, and instead of doing stars, add some gold sparkles or some gold foil onto your nails! It will look beautiful, with the gold against the blue.

9. Classic Blue

The previous one lead me to this one... blue is such a beautiful color all year round, and it is a perfect color to use for this holiday!

10. Sweater Nails

Now, to some of you, this idea may seem a bit confusing. However, it is absolutely beautiful! All you have to do is have a shiny plain color (preferably gel). (I wouldn't do any with sparkle, being that we're going to turn this matte) Apply that color onto your nails, and wait until it is dry. Then, apply a matte topcoat. You could also use a buffing file, (make sure it is used for buffing

, you do not want to use a file that is too rough for this) and buff the whole nail. It is better to use a matte topcoat though, because sometimes it is hard to get into certain areas of the nail, like around your cuticle. Now, when that is dry, take that same exact nail color that is shiny. Do little squiggly lines, like you would see on a cable sweater. The reason why it is better to do gel, is because gel is thicker. Unless you would like to keep the design part shiny, it would be better to have something that is thicker that will stand out on your nail. Then, (if using gel) add more matte topcoat and it will look like a cable sweater!

Well, that is it for Blogmas Day 6! I hope y'all enjoyed, and make sure to come back tomorrow for another post! Bye y'all!!

Christmas Tree Decorating (Blogmas Day 5)

Hello, everyone I'm back for another Blogmas 2021 post! How are all of you doing this fine Sunday!?

I've been busy decorating. This year I've decorated 3 trees - the main living room tree, my tree, and I surprised my neighbor with a tree this year, of which we decorated. Now, of course we decorated these as a family, but I thought you guys may enjoy seeing the process of how we decorated this year.

I personally love watching people decorate their house for different seasons - you can watch them on YouTube.

So without further ado, let's start off with the main tree. This one is about 7 1/2 foot tree, and my mom did most of the decorating, but we did somewhat help. Oh and the lights don't really go out like that; it's just how the camera picked up the lights. I know...weird, right?

Then we have my tree that goes in my room. This one is only 18 inches, since I don't have much space for a bigger one. However, I am proud of my little tree!

As for my neighbor's tree we only took pictures, so here is a picture instead of a video. :P This one is a six foot tree.

I honestly love decorating the trees, although, it takes a long time sometimes, and I'm not very experienced, so I often get criticized for my decorating skills, but hey, we all must learn somehow, right? I love the way they turned out and super happy about them.

When do you guys usually put up your tree, if you decorate one? What colors do you usually use and how big? Let me know in the comments below! I would love to hear from you, and until next time, Jam on!
