Yes! I do have a dog! She's a Jack Russel terrier and chihuahua mix (Which is short for a Jack chi) And her name is Zoey :D 

2. Which do you prefer? Big or small dogs?

Hmmm, I prefer any. Big, medium, small, they are all beautiful with their little personalities. :) 

3. What is your dream dog?

Hmmm, that's hard. I personally want a bunch of dogs and stuff when I grow to be older. I really want a husky though, or Golden Retriever 

4. What is your favorite dog movies?

Well, I don't really watch any movies. Soooo, i'm not sure. But any cute dog movies are great to me. :-)

5. What are five show off tricks would you like to teach your dog?

6. In your opinion what is one of the cutest things your dog does?

Hmmm, Zoey does a bunch of cute things! But i'm going to have to go with blowing bubbles in her sleep. She always does it, and it's just so cute, but sorta annoying I suppose when you're trying to talk or do school work because they are SOOOOO loud. 

7. What is one of the most annoying things someone has done to/with your dog?

Nothing really, when people come over we usually lock her in our little gate that we have, and she has access to 3 rooms in the house, so there is a lot of space.

Let's Get To 200,000 Views!

Helloooooo everyone! I'm writing this from my niece's bedroom, she's making me read a book while I'm trying to post, and listening to joy. by for KING & COUNTRY... And oh my goodness, if I don't reply to my niece fast enough, she'll be like, "Helloooo? Are you in there? HELLOOOOOO?????" So uh, this is a bit tricky...

I've been keeping an eye on the blog stats, and realized that we're only 9,000 views away from 200,000 views on AJFC! Which is pretty crazy, since I believe it was June 2017 that we reached 100,000 views.

We average about 3,000-4,000 views a month, so I think it's possible that we could get to 200,000 views before the end of the year! And if we do, I decided that I'd host a giveaway with some of the items I still have on my giveaway account! The items I'd giveaway are the following,

Here's todays Bible verse!

This was yesterdays daily Air1 verse, and I really needed it. I've just been feeling super overwhelmed about the thought of my sister living with us again, and we don't know when she'll be moving out. But we also don't even know when she'll be getting out of the hospital. This has really tested my faith and trust. But I know God will get me through it, even when it seems like there's no end to this storm. I just need to be strong and courageous.

God made you. Uniquely. Beautifully. Intentionally. Purposefully. Wonderfully.

There's Power In The Word (Part 1)

:Clears throat, stands real tall, and stares into the distance:

Helllllo Guys, do you know what today is?

Well yes, that's the obvious answer, but I want a specific answer.

"House322 you got to be kidding us." :Shakes head:

Nope.

:Points finger: "Just tell us already."

Okay, okay, hold your horses.

So today, I want to start a Christian series of posts, called "There's Power In The Word," or TPITW for short. During the next few months, I will go through Psalms 119. I will do this series every other week. There will probably be 12-23 parts, I don't know how many there will be yet.

 I am going to pick a key verse from a little section of the chapter since it has 176 verses! I am going to try to take the, what we are going to call the "Power Verse" and apply it to us. Then, at the end of each post, I am going to give y'all a challenge, or something to work on for the next two weeks. (I am going to be doing it with you, keeping a record of how I do, and sharing it with you all at the beginning of the next post). It's really just to get us to think about how important the Bible to us, as believers and to challenge you to dig deep into it.


So, on to the Scripture. Here we have verses 1-8 (All verses are from the King James Version)

1) Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.

2) Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

3) They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

4) Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.

5) O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!

6) Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

7) I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.

8) I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.


Okay, so this week's Power Verse is going to be...

So, here in verse 2, we read; "Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart."

As Christians, we are to keep God's testimonies. This simply means keeping the things he has done for us in mind. We are going to be heading over to Deuteronomy 4, where the word "testimonies" appears for the first time in the Bible. This will help get the context of what the word means. We see in Deuteronomy chapter 4, the Israelites were told of the things God had done in Egypt/coming out of Egypt, to the new generation; before going into the land. (Along with a few laws, and judgements if they did not continue to follow God).

It is important to know/remember when God has done something personally for you, even the small things. One of the reasons why God does something personally for you is to show himself to you. It proves to you He is God, Exodus 4:35, tells us this. 

I would recommend writing the things God has done for you. This is exactly how we have the Bible today. I mean, it is a bunch of stories of God doing things for his Creation. Just think of all the stories we have because someone wrote, or told from generation to generation, who later wrote of what God has done.

1) God protecting Noah and his family, when he was obedient to make an ark.
2) God allowing Sarah and Abraham having a child, Issac, at an old age.
3) God helping David fight Goliath. 

and sooo on!

Now, on to the second part of the verse, talking about seeking God with your whole heart. 

Believe it or not, Deuteronomy 4:29 also tells us to seek God with our whole heart. I find it very interesting not only does "testimonies" and "seek Him with thine whole heart" appear together in Psalms 119, but the also appear right before the Israelites were going into the promised land. (Deuteronomy 4:29 and 4:45)

We all know, seeking God is what He wants us to do. However, we don't always do it. I don't always do it. However, remembering the things God has done for us makes us want to seek and serve Him even more. It important we seek God and His words **Hint** The theme of Psalms 119.

Overall, we see God is a good God. He does things for us, that we really don't deserve. He wants us to keep those things in mind, and seek Him.

Challenge:  

This week write at least one (1) thing down God had done for you. It can be something He's done for you in the past or something in the next two (2) weeks. Just write something He has done for you. When you start thinking of all the things He's done. You'll quickly see He's done more than you've ever thought about.

Birthday Party Rescheduled!

Hi guys! What's up? I hope you're having a great end of the week! My week hasn't been that great. My sister is still in the hospital, and we currently have no idea when she's getting out, or moving, or anything... I just really want this to be over with. I've just been feeling super overwhelmed because we have no idea when this is gonna end. I have to admit, it's hard to trust God in all this, but I'm trying to get better at that. I know He's basically our only hope right now, and He'll get us through this. My heart knows this will end, but my head thinks it will just last forever. So please pray for me, my sister, and my whole family. Please pray for strength, peace, and that we'll all put our trust and faith in God.

Soooooo, likeeeeee, I can't remember when it was exactly, but about two weeks ago I posted that I was going to have a birthday party on the 26th! Unfortunately mostly everyone said that they weren't gonna be able to make it that day, so I decided I'd change the date, and see if this new date works better for everyone! I'm really glad I'm changing the date, for several reasons, one being that my sister is still in the hospital, and possibly still could be on Sunday. And the second being that I haven't decorated my den for my party at all...

Even though I'm going with a music theme on Animal Jam, I'm going with a pineapple theme again in real life! Today we bought a yellow tablecloth, a pineapple banner, green napkins, and yellow forks for the decoration. Aaaand I will be making a pineapple upside down cake! Sounds like a repeat of last year... Except this year we bought mustache buttercream mints, because last year we bought the pineapple ones online...

Yes.

Mustache.

They only had mustache ones, unless I wanted to get ones that said "It's a boy!" or, "It's a girl!" for a baby shower. Or if I wanted wedding ones (which we didn't even know they had until we checked out). So mustache ones were the best option... XDD My sister loves mustaches, so I'm sure she'll like them.

Okay, so today, as you can tell by my intro. (Let me know if they are too crazy, or not crazy enough, please). I am going to posting about top 10 coolest hats/headwear in AJ right now! Let's get started!

10- The Floppy Hat

This hat is for your own safety. It's big and well...FLOPPY! It comes in 8 colors, unfortunately, it's member! This would be a really cute hat for the Non-members out there. I am sure a lot of cute outfits could be made with this hat! I did find a similar hat at the summer carnival for all you Non-members out there! (Ahem, me!)

9- The Caramel Apple Hat

I guess some days you just feel like being a caramel apple. I know I do...Yeah right, but it's is a pretty cool hat. I guess if you ever decide that you do feel like you want to be a sticky mess, well there is a perfect hat for you!

8- The Pineapple Hat

This is a really cute hat, it shows just how clumsy I am. It looks like I fell into a pineapple. Anyway, if I was a member this would definitely be a hat that I would have, let's be more specific. I would probably have 2 in every color (so 16 in total), it's just soooooo cute! :Explodes of cuteness overload:

7- The French Braid 

This is amazing for role-playing. You just have so many color options. If you into the more uncommon colors they have those too! I personally love the pink one...but that's just me! It's also easy to change them. At the click of a button, you could have a new hairstyle! "Now that was easy"

 6- Coral Hat

Unfortunately, this one of the many member underwater items. However, if you are a member this is a really cool hat for you sea otter, sea turtle, dolphin, or any other underwater animal you may have.

5- The Butterfly Bow 

This is who I am! Okay, it's very subtle but stylish! The good think about this is that it's available for Non-members! That would be the main reason why it's part of my main look. 😏

4- The Eagle hat

This is one of those items that has been in Animal Jam for a really long time - 5-years to be exact. I remember when these first came out. I don't know exactly what advent they came out for, but I do remember them coming out. It's pretty cool if want to act like an eagle a day. 😃

3- Golden Unicorn Horn

This is awesome for fashion shows. I know I've used the Non-member "Icicle horn" for many, many, many, fashion shows. The golden color helps make you feel like you're royal toooo!

2- Diamond Head Bow

Would you like to be a princess? This bow will add the perfect touch to your princess outfit. You'll be the most royal person in Jamma...or not, but hey! You'll look good in it!

Two New Authors!

Hi guys! I hope you're having a great weekend! I'm writing this post early Saturday afternoon, so my weekend technically hasn't really started... But whatever... XDD

I haven't really posted any updates on my sister lately, but she's been doing really good! She's back home now, and is going to be moving around September 2nd or sooner. She really could move any time past Monday, because that's when she's getting the staples out of the place where they operated on, but she wants to be fully recovered before she travels.

Ever since Sarah stopped writing for AJFC, I've really been praying about who should take her spot. There were two people I had in mind, but obviously, that wouldn't really work having two people writing for just one day during the week. So I continued praying about it, and when I saw Arctic was going to be leaving AJFC, I knew it was just confirmation to make these two people authors.

So, those two authors are...

Housemom418 and Housemom322!

I'm so excited that you guys are going to be writing for AJFC as full-time authors, and not just fill-in authors. I know these girls are going to be an amazing addition to AJFC! They're awesome Christians, and just awesome people to be around.

At first she wasn't gonna ask her sister to come on. How rood ):( XDD
