That's right folks! I'm having a 4th of July party! BUT, Before I go any farther.. If there’s one thing I would change about this drawing, it’d be... the lineart. Sarah asked me to make it in the style of Violet86271’s avatar chibi, and I don’t quite feel like it happened, at least not to the fullest extent possible. (I did do my best to make the hair highlights the same, though, which seemed like the biggest part of the style.) If there’s one thing I would keep the same about this drawing, it’d be... his shoes, I think.

I like those shoes.

Vacation Part 1 - Meet And Greets!

Whyyyyyy hello there everyone! We just got back home from our vacation! I have sooooo much to tell you guys. I'm super tired, and don't have all the pictures together yet, but to sum it all up, we went to Elevate 2018, in Phoenix, Arizona! It's a 3 day Christian music festival filled with amazingness... Long story short, Jon Steingard, the lead singer from Hawk Nelson went to Starbucks with us and rode in our car, Darren said very encouraging things to me since I deal with anxiety, Micah Tyler gave us a free autographed CD, aaaaand uh-

And since that night he had to play at Elevate, we dropped him off at the arena! No, he didn't have his car.

He was running in 110 degrees, in Phoenix. Where the arena was, wasn't the best area... XDD

 It's hard to say exactly how we met him because of personal information, but my dad connected him through email and calling earlier this year, and we finally got to meet him!

My mom got me an awesome Hawk Nelson poster at the concert. :ooooo

I keep rambling Hawk Nelson this, Hawk Nelson that, and y'all might not even know who that is. XDD It's a Christian band, that sings some songs you've heard on Christian radio, like, He Still Does (Miracles), Drops In The Ocean, Live Like You're Loved, Words, and Diamonds.

Oh, and about him riding in our car. XD I was literally saying when we were driving over to Starbucks, "We should ask if he needs a ride to the arena..." Me and my parents just kinda laughed it off, then when he asked for a ride, I was just like, wot is happening. XDD We had Air1 on in the car, a Christian station, and I'm not even joking, He Still Does (Miracles) comes on the radio. I was like, "Is it weird hearing your song on the radio?" And he was just kinda like, "Wha- oh- this is Miracles." Then he said how in some airport shuttles they play K-LOVE, and when his song comes on, he just kinda sits there awkwardly. XDD It was really funny.

I also met Darren from my favorite Christian band, We Are Messengers! He's the sweetest guy ever. He's exactly who he is in videos and concerts. I met him first at a meet and greet with him, Jonny Diaz, David Dunn, and Chris from Stars Go Dim. I first would like to say that David and Chris totally caught onto me being obsessed with We Are Messengers. XDD It kinda makes me laugh just thinking about it. My mom told the person that was gonna take a picture of us that I wanted a picture of just me and Darren, and David was like, "Yeah take a picture of just us too!"

If you're wondering why Chris's arm is in a sling, I guess he tore his muscle. o.o

Honestly, I didn't get to say much to Darren because I was just in another world. XDD I really wanted to tell Darren how much his music has mean't to me since I struggle with anxiety though. (He did say thank you for buying his new t-shirt though, hehehehehe)

During the intermission after We Are Messengers, me and my mom had to use the bathroom. My dad was talking with someone, so we decided to look at the merch tables upstairs, aaaand guess who was theeeere? Darren! It wasn't that long of a line, so we decided to see him again. He was so sweet, and remembered me from the meet and greet a couple hours before that. After I got this picture with him,

I told him how Magnify has mean't a lot to me in my struggle with anxiety. And he just said the sweetest things to me. He put his hand on the back of my head and said, "May God give you a sound mind. A peaceful mind. Like real peace. I love you, I'm proud of you. Keep on fighting." After he said all that, I really felt like I was going to cry, it was just so sweet, and mean't so much to me. That day I was kinda having some anxiety, and after he spoke that over me, I really did feel peaceful.

So, about Joel from for KING & COUNTRY shaking my hand...

The meet and greet with for KING & COUNTRY was going on at the same time the We Are Messengers one was, and when me and my mom got out of the We Are Messengers one, for KING & COUNTRY was just finishing up! We could see them inside of the room they were in, and they were walking out of it when we came up. I was literally just staring at them. XDD He comes up to my dad and shakes his hand just out of no where, and then he comes up and shakes my hand, and says, "Hey!". I was just like

Then after dad talked to their manager for a second, I stared at mom, and was like, "What just happened...?"

Rare Item Monday! + My Favorite Spikes!

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! Last Thursday was the first day of summer! Who's happy that summer is officially here? I know I am. Its pretty hot out, but thankfully since I'm used to it, its not so bad. Are any of you summer swimmers? I love to swim during the summer! Sadly since I have been so busy I have not had a chance to swim yet. Hopefully you guys are enjoying the warmer weather!

For todays post instead of just talking about Rare Item Monday, I wanted to talk about a few of my favorite spikes! AJHQ also has four of the spikes highlighted on their blog, so I will be ranking them from my favorite to least favorite!

#1 Mira spike:

I have to say this one is my favorite! Blue is one of my favorite colors, so this one was an easy choice!

#2 Donut spike:

This one is a very close second! I mean its a donut spike, what's not to love?!

#3 Lava spike:

This one is great too! I don't believe I have seen an item like this before, its very original!

#4 Zios spike:

My favorite thing about this spike is the blueish green color mixed with the yellowish gold. Super pretty color!

Drawing with Eyes Closed Challange

:Southern accent: Hello, y'all!

 "Um, house322, we know you are posting today for Gracie, but really the southern accent?"

:Russian accent: Yeah, why not?

 "Okay, you really had to go there?"

:Australian accent: Yep, I sure did.

So, today as you can see, I am filling in for Gracie! About a month ago, Gracie on AJC (Animal Jam Community) posted a bunch of drawing that she did, while her were eyes closed. Gracie's Post 

So, I decided that I would jump on in, and do the same! The first 5 drawing are on my computer, made with a mouse. The other 5 are on my touch screen laptop, so they were made with my fingers, but all 10 were with my eyes closed!

 This is the first one that I did. I had my sister tell me what to draw. She also picked the correct colors for me, since EVERYTIME I would go to choose a color, I would click on another website. XD
It was technically supposed to say, "The Lord Jesus Christ," but this will work too!

 Then we have...well...it's supposed to be a bold banana, with arms. XD It's not even close! Not did I only ruin a perfectly good banana, but I also made it loose it's self-esteem.  I think I am going to go in my room and cry now...

 Okay, after a good cry. I went on and drew my dog. (You can see my dog in my sister's first post: Sister's Post, Scroll to the Bottom . It's closer than the previous one! So should I get a 1/4 of a point?

 Next, we have Gracie! Okay, yeah, this is ummm, just BAD! A leg is on here face, which means that she has 5? I did manage to draw her tail...twice and her ring in the lower right corner.

This isn't the worst, but it's certainly the best. It's supposed to be waves and a light house. This is also the last one that I drew on my desk top, with a mouse. I definitely see a huge difference between the first and the last (this one), so I find that a success.

Now, we now on to the ones that I drew with my touch screen laptop. Which, I am pretty excited to see how this turns out. I really hope this is not considered cheating.

BUNNY- Yep I know lame, but hey, it's not terrible!

 This is supposed to be a horse, but I don't think it turned out so good. It more looks like a deformed table...Yeah, sorry about that little horsey!

THE SUN! The amazing sun! The light of our world, hmmm I know someone who is the light of the world...JESUS CHRIST. Okay, sorry I just had to!

 It's summer, the summer is hot. In reality where I live you could technically swim all year long, but yeah. It's a swimming pool. 

Lastly, we have something that we are ALL familiar with. That is a house, however I don't think the windows are roof of our houses. I am sooooo glad that I am not a blindfolded Architect! Trust me, you wouldn't want me to plan out your house!

So, today I am going to be doing the Christian Girl Tag. I had seen this tag done on YouTube, thinking it was an amazing idea to do! Obviously, this is a Christian post, which I am really passionate about doing. Without further ado, let's get started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (A lot of exclamation marks, but whatever I am pretty cited, :Hesitates: or I mean excited)!


1) How long have you been saved, and when did you become saved?

I have been saved for 5 years! I got saved on Easter of 2013 around 7 PM, which was March 31st.  This day, we were at church (which was at my home, since we didn't have a church where we lived, before moving). The pastor was talking about the rapture, and that if God would to come back at 7 O' clock that they (meaning the saved people in the church) would be gone. I started bawling! My mom saw me and asked if I was okay. I told her that I wasn't sure if I was saved. My dad took a bible showed me that Jesus Died, was buried, and rose again the third day. All because I was a sinner and needed a Savior. At that moment, when I admitted that I needed him to save me and him alone, is when I got saved.   
 


 2) What's your favorite Bible verse, and what does it mean to you? 

My favorite verse would have to be Romans 1:16. Yeah, I have many, but I think this particular would have to be ultimate favorite, it reads;

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (KJV) 

This is my favorite because, I know whatever opposition that comes against me when telling people about the gospel, I shouldn't be ashamed of it. It's the gospel that changes people. It's the gospel that changes people's destination from hell to heaven. It's by the power of God that I am even able to believe in Jesus Christ. This may be a little verse, but there is A LOT in it.  



3) What's your favorite Christian song and why? 

Lately, I've been loving "I Want To Be That Man," by Brian Free and Assurance. It's a really great song. It speaks about how his father woke up every morning before the sun came up to read his bible. He was a man who lived the bible. The person who wrote it goes on to say that he wants to be that man that lives the bible, just like his father.

Well, I want to be a young lady that lives the bible. One that loves God and the bible. I think my ultimate favorite Christian song would actually be a hymn entitled, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus." Mainly because, I learned what a true friend he was, when I didn't have any physical friends. 


 
4) What is your favorite Christian book?

Hmm...That is a good question. I do read, but I don't know if I can really say I have a favorite. I don't really think this counts, but I'll say the bible!  I mean, it is Christian and it is a book, so I don't know why it wouldn't count? XD


 
 5) What's your favorite thing about church?

My favorite thing about church is the preaching. I know it may sound boring, but I honestly love the messages that we get. They are always so practical, to both the young and old. I strive to be pleasing to God and listen to what he wants me to do. I do get a lot from reading the bible, but I love the preaching. It gives a different view on the scripture that I am able to apply to my life. 


  
 6) If you could meet Jesus right now, what would your first question/action be? 

Hmm, again a good question. I would probably ask; "What it was like to step down into time, when he had been living in eternity for...well...FOREVER literally." It seems like a pretty deep question, but it would be an interesting answer. 

My first action, would have to be probably falling to my face crying. I would imagine. 



7) Oddest place that you have ever prayed?

I am not really sure if you can pray in an "odd" place. I would have to say the weirdest time I've prayed was while cleaning up dog doo doo. Yeah, but I was by myself and I just felt like praying and talking to God. So, that's exactly what I did! I don't really think it was odd though. Maybe if someone saw me. They would probably accuse me being drunk like Eli did with Hannah...or not. 😉


  
 8) Are you ready if Jesus were to come tomorrow? 

Absolutely! My question is, why not right this moment!? :Pauses and waits: AW MAN! I am still here...



9) How do you openly share your faith?

Hmm, I don't get out often to tell people. However, I do try telling people on AJ. I used to play this other game that I would post bible verses on people's "walls." Obviously, from time to time I'll blog about my faith. As far as walking up to actual people and sharing my faith. I don't really do that often.
