There's Power In The Word (Part 3)

Hello everybody! :Waves violently:

"Hey there, Housemom322."

Hola, me nombre es Housemom322.

"And now you're speaking Spanish?"

SΓ! ¿CΓ³mo estas?

"Umm, can you translate?"

:Flips through Spanish 1 notes: Yes! How are you?

"We're waiting..."

I did. It means Yes! How are you.

"OHHH, Well maybe you should stick with English then."

Okay, I will stick con inglΓ©s. (with English)

"Get on with it already, please."

_________________________________________________________________

Okay, I'm not exactly sure how my intro became a Spanish lesson, or how it relates to today's post, but any who. It was interesting enough, so watch me flip through my Spanish notes. So, it another Wednesday, and that means I post! Last week I posted about What I want to do when I get older, you can see that post HERE.  That means this week we are working on Part 3 of TPITW! Here we go...

So on to the Scripture, in this part we are dealing with verses 17-24. As always all references are from the King James Version.

17) Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.

18) Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.

19) I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.

20) My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times.

21) Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments.

22) Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.

23) Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.

24) Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.

Our power verse is going to be...

πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰VERSE 18πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

In the first part we started our journey in Deuteronomy, well today we are going to go back even further, to figure out what the word "law" references to.  The first time "law" shows up is Exodus 12:49 (As far as our context goes. The real first time is Genesis 11:31, but it's talking about a daughter-in-law.

Here is a few verses before and after, to give us the context of our story to begin with.

47) All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

48) And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49) One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

50)  Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

From the context of Exodus 12:49, we see "law(s)" are the commandment, that Israel shall keep. That makes sense in what we are reading over in Psalms 119. As I have said before, the main theme of Psalms 119 is God's word - The Bible.

Here David, is praying that God would open his eyes, that he may see and observe the things in the law of God. This can still apply to us today, every time when we open our Bible.

Over in Hebrews, we read, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." in chapter 4, verse 12.

The Bible is living, it's know humanity. It's knows our nature; it know our heart and thoughts. With that being said, it reveals to you who are.  To get the most out of the Bible we should be asking the Holy Ghost, to reveal the areas we need to work on in your life. This is how your eyes are opened.

Isaiah 34:16 says, "Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them."

When we ask God for our eyes to be opened we are seeking the book of the LORD. Basically, I gave all those verse to say this: When we the Bible, we should pray first. That's how our eyes become open to God's words.

That seems to wrap up this week's post. I do have a challenge for you all.

Challenge:
Continue to read your bible from the previous challenge, but this time spend at least 5 minutes each time you read, in prayer asking God to reveal to you the things he has for you scripture.

Last TPITW, post challenge was to try to read your Bible everyday, even if it's just a chapter and to memorize at least one verse.

Unfortunately, I struggled with this challenge myself. I read September 14, 17, 18, 19, 22, and the 26. I did not memorize any verses over the last two week. You can see even I fail at times, don't be discouraged if you don't complete the challenges. They are there to help you to get closer to God, if you don't know where to start. It's a guide.

Click here for part 1, or here for part 2.

Time To Leave, and Introducing IFTs!

Hello everyone!

...Welp.

You know, I’ve been thinking about writing this post for a long time, but now that I’ve actually got to write the dang thing, I’ve got no idea what to say. Funny how that works out.

It’s time to leave the AJFC, but I guess I shouldn’t just scoot off without an explanation.

Now that I’m eighteen (yes, I know, age on internet bad, but highly relevant in this case), it has become increasingly clear that I must “become a productive member of the household”. Translation: “Get a job, ya sponge!” 😝 (Not that my wonderful parents would ever say that to me... but I ain’t gonna push it.)

So now I’m working.

Here’s the thing, though — a job takes time. More time than I had anticipated. And with the fact that I don’t know where most of the time in my day goes anyway (though I do today... *grumbles* stupid Pinterest, needta delete it), I’m afraid blogging is going to be one of those things that has to be cut from my schedule. I’ll still be on a few other sites, (Chicken Smoothie and Twitter being main ones) but it won’t be consistent/regular.

Speaking of Chicken Smoothie....

I know a lot of people post “adoptable” character designs for sale (for in-game currency or pets) on CS, and I wondered if I could ask a few questions of all’y’all Chicken-Smoothians on here. (I know there are a lot of you.)

How much would you pay for an adoptable, and what things about a character design make you think “Ooooh, I want THAT one!”?

Also, posting some concepts I made a few days ago, because I can’t leave you guys without art, can I??

These lil’ guys are a species I sorta made up as I was drawing them... they’re called Impossibly Fluffy Things — ”Ifts” for short!

If — and it’s a big if — if I made an adoptables shop on CS and stopped in every once in a while to check on orders, do you think anyone would really buy much...? I’m not sure how much traffic those forum posts even get, because I don’t hang out on that side of the site. (I’m more into forum games. XD) Could anyone who frequents those posts give me a clue? :P I’d really appreciate it.

Welp, it’s time to go!

Thank you all for a wonderful blogging experience, and especially for all those incredibly sweet comments on all of my drawings. πŸ˜πŸ’— (Seriously, you guys are so cool.) It’s been an amazing few years, and I hope to blog again someday!

Signing off and signing out,

PEACE!
LOVE!

Colossians 1:10-14 ESV
“So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

Rare Item Monday!

Hey, Jammer’s! It’s CoolCat here with another post! Unfortunately this weeks post won’t be very long. My dog has been sick over the weekend and we just took him to the vet today, and I am very tired from my busy day. But today’s post should still be interesting! I’m pretty happy with today’s Rare Item Monday items. So without further ado let’s get started!

Today’s Rare Item Monday for Animal Jam is the Rare Striped Bow Tie!

Thoughts: I really love this weeks Rare Item Monday! It’s probably my favorite one from Animal Jam in awhile. It’s just a basic blue and purple bow. It’s pretty simple but that’s what makes it great!

Overall I rate Animal Jams Rare Item Monday a 10! Now let’s move onto Play Wilds Rare Item Monday.

Today’s Rare Item Monday for Play Wild is the Rare Cat Ears!

Thoughts: I love Play Wilds Rare Item Monday as well! I absolutely love cats, I actually have four of them! This Rare Item Monday is purrfect for someone like me!  My only complaint is that I wish it was black instead of red, that would have been super cool!

Overall I rate Play Wilds Rare Item Monday a 7.5! What did you think of today’s items? Which one was your favorite? My favorite is the striped bow tie!

Here is today’s verse.

“Do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.” -Hebrews 10:35-36

As always, bye Jammers! And -Jam On!-

When I'm Older Tag

Hellllllo!

"Oh no, it's Housemom322...again"

Well, I am sorry, but I truly think today will be interesting.

"We'll be the one to determine that."

Okay, so want to talk about the future? Like 2025? 2030? What about 2040!?

"That's only 7 years away."

Or 22...

_________________________________________________________________

Today, I am going to be doing the "When I'm Older Tag," created by Sarahkey8

1) When do you think you'll move out?

I will probably move out when I am 18. I only have 2 1/2 short years...That's actually quite sad now that I think about it. I don't know though, I may. I may not.

2) Do you look forward to getting married.

YES! Okay, really I don't know. I am praying about it. I would love to get married though.

3) Do you look forward to having kids?

Yes, absolutely! If God gives me a husband, I would love to have kids of my own. If not, I plan to be a teacher, so I'll have those kids for a good portion of the day. So I would be content with that too.

4) What are some "dream rooms" you will have in your home?

I really would like to have a Bible study room. This would be a place for me to lay on my stomach on a huge couch looking thing. I would have my Bible, pens, and paper I would be set to go. It would also have a huge window for free light!

If I have children I would love to have the opportunity to homeschool them, so I would love to have a room dedicated to school.

5) What job will have/want to get?

As I've said before I would love to be a teacher. I would prefer being an pre-school to 2nd grade teacher, or a special needs teacher. However, any grade would be nice too.

6) What would your dream home look like?

I would like to have stairs, a big back yard. I would like to have at least 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms would be nice.

A good sized kitchen would also be nice as well.

7) What pets will you have?

I am not really sure. I  will probably have a little dog, no big dogs...Sorry to all you big dog lovers. I really don't know.

_________________________________________________________________________

That's all! Thanks for reading today. I am very sorry for it being a shorter post. I was really late writing it. I currently have a headache. It's almost church time. I need to fold clothes, so I really need to go. BYE GUYS!!

Today's Encouraging Quote:

For All Jammers!

Helloooooo everybody! I'm so sorry for my lack of posting lately. I really don't have any good reason for why I haven't been posting, other than laziness. XD How has your week been going so far? Mine's been going great, and I'm currently gearing up to go to a Christian concert next week! As you know, I love concerts, so that's all that's been on my mind. And in between thinking about it, I've been looking for another one to go to after that. Hueheueheuehehueheueheuehe. XDD I might go to one in October, but I'm still not sure... Not sure if mom will go for it though since we've been going to quite a bit... But maybe if I save up enough money and-
Oki
Let's just start today's post
kay? :D

---

Today Animal Jam had a new update, with some features for non members! I know a lot of people has been asking for non member features, so this update was totally in response to that! First, a new den!

It's called Autumn Small House! I'm not sure what peoples reaction was to this new den since it's still the small house, but if I was non member, I'd be super excited about this! Here's the inside of the den,

The outside has lots of orange flowers and leaves, to make it uhm-
Fallish.
New word everybody. :D

The inside of the den is the same as the original small house.

And some leaf piles outside,

I spy a new author in this picture. XDD

And at the top of the front yard!

Overall, I think this den is pretty cute! I love the light blue roof. I'm not a huge fan of the dark shadings near the leaf piles, but I still think it's a cute den.

Another new feature, is that safe chat plus is now for all jammers! When safe chat plus came out for the very first time, I was a little confused, because originally I'm pretty sure it used to be called something else. But with safe chat plus it looks like this,

Compared to safe chat,

And with bubble chat, you can only choose the words Animal Jam selected.

For, I wanna say like, 3 or 4 years? Safe chat plus was only for members, but now it's for everyone! I'm sure lots of jammers are excited about this. If you don't know how to get safe chat plus, I have some instructions down below for you!

---

Go to the top of the Animal Jam homepage, and push "PARENTS".

With your parents permission (or with their help), sign into the parent dashboard with the parent email address and password you used when you first signed up for Animal Jam.

Choose which account you want to grant safe chat plus on.

Push safe chat plus, and click yes when this image pops up.

Sign into your account, and you'll have safe chat plus!

Even if you have safe chat plus, you still need to be careful with what you say, because if you say things against the AJ rules, you could get downgraded to bubble chat for a little while, or get suspended. So you still need to be very careful!

I hope this tutorial was helpful! :D

Here's todays Bible verse!

1 Peter 3:17

Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!

God made you. Uniquely. Beautifully. Intentionally. Purposefully. Wonderfully.
