I am so excited about this! Now, I am not the best den decorator, but this is by far, my favorite den I've designed.

Here's the process.  😃
We're starting at 1:17 PM 

 Okay, for each 10 Minutes of decorating, I took a picture so here they are! 

Honestly, at this point I knew it was going to take forever! For those who decorate full member dens! Man, I respect you!



By the time I got to 20 minutes I was making a little more progress.

 30 minutes later...

 I seem to be hiding in this picture! Can anyone find me? 


After 39 minutes, we finished the inside of the house! 

 8 minutes later, we have the outside ALMOST done.

Finally after 56 minutes of very hard work we have the final corner. This is supposed to be a "concert" corner. 😊😊

Rare Item Monday!

Hey, Jammer’s! It’s CoolCat here with another post! I am writing this post pretty late and I am very tired, so because of that I’m just going to jump right into this weeks Rare Item Monday!

Today’s Rare Item Monday for Animal Jam is the Rare Flaming Jack O Lantern Mask.

Thoughts: I hate to say it but I’m not a fan of this weeks Rare Item Monday. The only thing I like about it is the choice of colors that were used.

Overall I rate Animal Jams Rare Item Monday a 4. Now let’s move onto our next Rare Item Monday.

Today’s Rare Item Monday for Play Wild is the Rare Jack O Lantern Hat.

Thoughts: Honestly I’m not a fan of this Rare Item Monday either. This is basically the same as the other one, just minus the flames with different colors.

Halloween - Why I Don't Celebrate It

Hey hey hey everyone! Yes! I'm actually posting on a Sunday! XD This post is gonna be kinda short though, since I'm waiting for dinner right now, and I'm super tired. I've been up for 12 hours and will be up for like 4 or 5 more hours *cries*.

Recently Housemom322 did a post sharing her feelings about halloween (click here to read her post), and I decided that I would do the same.

When I was really little, I knew halloween was just something gross that we just don't celebrate. But then when I got a little older, my mom showed my this website (link below), that breaks down a lot about halloween, and a lot of things in this blog post were found on it. You can look at the website using the link below.

There's a whole bunch of information on the website, but here's my condensed version of it.

Halloween comes from Druidic origin, which is basically the celtic religion, where they sacrifice humans, and just a bunch of other nasty things. And when they sacrifice humans, they sacrifice to either baal or the devil, which is absolutely against everything the Bible says. But whether you're a Christian or not, it's still wrong, and so gruesome. You might think, "Well, that was a long time ago. That doesn't apply to today." But really, it does. There are still people who do things like this. I've actually met someone who is apart of something similar to this.

The meaning behind a whole lot of the halloween traditions and so wicked, you wouldn't even believe it. Just the simple tradition of wearing costumes has a horrible meaning. The website says that it's supposed to be a contact to the spirit world to invite the spirit to possess them. That's crazy. Costumes are supposed to be basically a gateway to allow the devil come mess with us.

The most popular, trick or treating, comes from Druid (or Druidic) customs. Which again, is so gruesome.

No matter what culture says, no matter what you believe even, this is horribly wrong. So before you get your halloween decorations up, go trick or treating, or whatever your tradition is, please consider the origin of this holiday.

Isaiah 28:15-19 says,

You boast, “We have entered into a covenant with death,

    with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement.

When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by,

    it cannot touch us,

for we have made a lie our refuge

    and falsehood our hiding place.”

16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

    a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;

the one who relies on it

    will never be stricken with panic.

I will make justice the measuring line

    and righteousness the plumb line;

    your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand.

The understanding of this message

    will bring sheer terror.

You don't have to agree with me on what I said, and I also didn't tell you these things to be scared. I told you this to open your eyes to the truth and reality about halloween. These things are scary, but if we break the covenant with death and hell, we don't have to be afraid. If we have Jesus before us, and the world and death behind us, we have absolutely nothing to fear.

Instead of celebrating halloween, find a fun yearly alternative for it. Me and my mom always put up our decorative Christmas houses, which is our alternative. Or maybe you could watch a movie with your family, or go shopping, or whatever you enjoy doing that doesn't have a covenant with death.

Making wise choices will make a huge impact on your life. ❤️

Helloooo everyone! I hope you're having a great Thursday so far! I'm so sorry I haven't been keeping up with posting lately. I haven't been very enthusiastic about posting... XDD I'm just like-

Today's post isn't exactly a post-post, it's more of a prayer request. I don't normally put stuff like this on AJFC, but I've been really invested in this story that I can't help but share this with everyone.

There's a little girl named Rowen Auer, she's only three, and she had to go into the ER about three weeks ago. She was vomiting multiple times a day, so they originally went in for that. But she was diagnosed with heart failure. She had to be transferred to UCLA (which is a really big hospital, that deals with all sorts of medical issues) and had to have two heart surgeries. She might need a heart transplant, but thankfully her heart is healing, so she probably won't. But recently she's been having problems with a drain they put in, so she had to have a procedure done yesterday, and they're hoping it doesn't turn into another surgery.

So many people are praying for her all around the world, it's crazy. So many people are saying how this story has brought people back to God, seeing the faith of her parents, and how God is slowly working a miracle in the life of this little girl. If you want to read more about Rowen, you can read updates on their GoFundMe page, which I linked on the picture below.

If you could keep her in your prayers, I'm sure she and the family would greatly appreciate it. Like I said earlier, she's only three years old. She's so little, and has already been through so much. I found out about this story because Rowen's dad, Josh, is Phil Wickham's bass player. Phil Wickham is a Christian artist that you might of heard of before. He sings songs that you've probably heard in church before, like "This Is Amazing Grace", and "Living Hope."

That's about all I have for this post! I should have another one on Sunday, that I was in the process of writing over a week ago. I sorta just let it go, but I really wanna finish it. XD And hopefully next Thursday I'll have an Animal Jam post!

Hello guys! I am so glad you joining me in another TPITW post! I love writing these posts and I hope you enjoy reading them! By this time we are just over 1/5 of the way done. Yes, I've decided to do 23 parts. 😜

Without further ado let's get started!

Psamls 119:33-40 (KJV) 

33) Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end.

34) Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

35) Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

36) Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

37) Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.

38) Stablish thy word unto thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.

39) Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.

40) Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy righteousness.

Okay, so after we've read that. Let me just tell you, this passage really spoke to me for many reasons, but I especially liked verse 37, because it seemed to fit so well in the world in which we live in. 

That being said....

















VERSE 37 is our Power Verse! 



 
We live in a time where there is vanity is everywhere we look, even to those who are sheltered. By sheltered I mean, not exposed to these things by either family members, friends, or school. We have these tiny little devices in our hands called, cell phones, tablets, or computers. They have the ability to expose us to vanity at the click of a button, whether we want to or not.

I find it very funny how we call these things "devices" every time in the Bible the word "device or devices" comes up it's in a bad context (Except 2 Chronicles 2:14; Ecclesiastes 9:10; which are 2 out of 26 times that it shows up).

Now, don't get me wrong these things can be used for good and are sometimes. However, there is also a lot of bad that can be done with them.

Vanity can be defined as simply going against what God commanded. I get this from 2 Kings 17:15 where it says. "And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them." 

This what got the nation of Israel in trouble. God had waned them in book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 8, verse 20. "As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God."

As Christians we are to be keeping our faces from the things that displease God. Many things displease God. It's sin that displeases God. We are to keep our eyes from sin as much as possible. Most of all, keep your live pure. I would encourage you to stay out of sin. 

Sin only lasts for a season, like Hebrews 11:25 says. "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;" Which is talking about Moses not wanting to be called the son of Pharoh's daughter in Egypt. By the way, Egypt is a type of the world in the Bible. I love how all these verses go together like a giant puzzle! 

The second part of this verse says "....and quicken thou me in thy way." This is what we are supposed to do instead of putting our eyes on vanity. 

Quicken can be defined as springing to life. 

We are to focus of walking in the way of life, which is walking according to the way of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 says that He is life. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

You may ask, "How do I know what the way of Jesus Christ is?" It's simple, it's found within Bible. The commandments, the prophets, the gospels. It's our answer. 

With all that being said! I guess we are done with today's post! Thank you all for reading.

Rare Item Monday! + Free Ice Cream?!

Hey, Jammer’s! It’s CoolCat here with another post. Before I start off with today’s Rare Item Monday  ,I wanted to share a promotion at Wendy’s for free ice cream with you all! Thoughts: In my opinion this weeks Rare Item Monday is just okay. It’s a green and yellow crown with black flames. I feel the colors are a bit dull and don’t match very well. But I feel my complaints are minor.

Overall I rate Animal Jam’s Rare Item Monday a 6. Now let’s move onto Play Wild’s Rare Item Monday.

Today’s Rare Item Monday for Play Wild is the Rare Yeti Mask.

Thoughts: It is just a plain yellow mask. I have mentioned several times before in the past that I do not care for masks, but the colors on this Rare Item Monday are very vibrant which makes me like it.

Overall I rate Play Wild’s Rare Item Monday a 8.
