Bible Study!

Hey jammers! graciepopstar91 here! Im so sorry that I haven't done a post since last week! Ive been so busy with church activities and stuff! I'll get back on track soon. Anyways, our weekly AJFC Bible Study is tonight! I cant wait! Last week we talked about how amazing God really is. But this week I'm going to talk about anxiety! A problem some of us face daily (like me). Even though I'm still working on my anxiety i've learned some stuff that can help you! And dont worry I wont put you on the spot if you have anxiety. But if you need prayer just ask! I wont make fun of you.
Anyways, heres the Bible Study info!

Date: Every Monday (Monday 3-28-16 which is TODAY!!)

Location: graciepopstar91's den

Time: 7 PM PST Pacific standard time such as California, Arizona (Arizona is MST but Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time so it will be 7 PM in Arizona.), Nevada, Oregon, and Washington state 

10 PM EST Eastern standard time such as Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and New York 

8 PM MST Mountain standard time such as New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Idaho 9 PM CST Central standard time such as Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, and Kansas 4 AM UK time 4 PM HST Hawaii standard Time such as Honolulu, and Hilo

Im sorry i didnt do a blog post on Easter. So i just want to say to everyone, Happy Late Easter! In Canada its Easter Monday so I guess that works. Some people dont understand what Easter is all about. People think its about bunnys, chocolate, the beginning of spring, etc! But really Easter is about Jesus dying on the cross then being raised from the dead! Thats pretty powerful! To learn more about this, read, in the Bible,  John 17-21-30. (John chapter 17 through chapter 21 and read until verse 30.)

I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me?

I admit, I have lots of anxiety. But when I feel nervous my mom sometimes tells me to read my list of Bible verses that talk about anxiety. So if you have anxiety like me, make a list of Bible verses that comfort you. This verse could be one of them! Grab a journal and write it down! I'm going to make a new page on the blog of comforting verses. I have a page with encouraging Bible verses but I think another page that has to with comforting verses would be good. So after i post up the page, grab your journal and write the verses down or just go on the page whenever you get anxiety.

And yes! Today is Palm Sunday! Palm Sunday is when Jesus road into a town riding on a donkey and people praised God! This happened before his death and resurrection.
