The Official Animal Jam Blogger Tag, And Housemom418's Birthday Party!

Helloooo everyone! I refuse to use my AJ intro If you can't tell, I'm not very happy about doing an Animal Jam post. XD I don't know- I'm just really tired of doing Animal Jam posts. After doing the #FocusingOnGod posts, that's truly what I want to write about. So, of course on Animal Jam Community I'll be doing Animal Jam posts, but I think on here I'll mainly be doing Christian blog posts. I have no idea if anyone likes reading it, but if I'm doing it to God's glory, and God has placed this on my heart, I'm sure it's for a reason to reach someone out there.

Let's get going with todays post. ^.^

On Sunday, Violet86271 put up a new tag, called 'The Official Animal Jam Blogger Tag', so today I'm going to be answering that!

1. My username is Graciepopstar91! I'd love to change it to like, FlamingArrow55 or something, but I've had Graciepopstar91 for so long, it's just what everyone's used to. Plus if one of my buddies saw my username was 'FlamingArrow55' they would probably have no idea who I am. XD

2. I started blogging for this blog on June 15th 2015! I kinda started blogging before that, but I'll explain more about that in the seventh question.

3. I write for this blog, Animal Jam Community, The Teens Guide To Animal Jam And More, and Flaming Arrow For Jesus! I'm planning to write more posts on Flaming Arrow For Jesus soon. ^.^

4. Yes I do! I have this blog, The Animal Jam Friendship Community, and my more IRL blog is Flaming Arrow For Jesus.

5. Well, technically on October 4th it will be four years, but again, I'll explain that more in question 7. XD

6. Honestly, I don't really know. It's been so long. I just thought it would be cool I guess.

7. Weeeeeeeell... I used to have my own little 'blog' that I would email to my parents and nana about Animal Jam, then I decided to ask my mom if I could have my own actual blog. She said that my dad knows how to work WordPress, so I could use that. I agreed, and started a WordPress blog on October 4th 2014, and I kept up with it for about a year or less. It was a Christian Animal Jam blog. Then my friend Sweetraspberry got a blog through blogspot, and I thought blogspot would be much better than WordPress. She had a really nice format, so I wanted something like that. My mom let me get a blog through blogspot, and that's when I made this blog, The Animal Jam Friendship Community! At first it wasn't really a Christian blog, but later I started adding Bible verses and such. I started writing for Animal Jam Community July 19th 2016. About one or two years before that, I applied to become a blogger for AJC, but I don't know, I just didn't feel right about it. I deleted my application, but then a long while after that, I decided to apply again, when just a few people were writing for AJC, and Arcticstar8404 was the admin. She accepted me, and I've been blogging there ever since! I got my position as an admin on AJFC because- well- I started this blog. XD And I'm just an author on AJC. ^.^

8. I've been playing since September 3rd 2013, so, it will be five years this year!

9. Hm... I guess my least favorite thing is when conflict or drama comes up. Y'know, like when that whole Julian2 thing went down, or several years ago when people were bullying me. And probably my favorite thing is with blogging, that blogging is such a great opportunity to tell people about Jesus throughout the whole world!

10. Uhm.. Probably every single time I asked one of my friends if they wanted to write for my blog. I loved seeing their reactions. XDD

11. Welp, my intro on here is kinda always changing, but I used to do, "Hey Jammers! Graciepopstar91 here!" a lot, and for my outro I include a Bible verse, and "God made you. Uniquely. Beautifully. Intentionally. Purposefully. Wonderfully." Which as I said when I first started using that, is a quote from Louie Giglio's book, 'Goliath Must Fall'. ^.^

12. (Please don't be mad if I don't say you XD) My favorite blog would probably be.. MY BLOG. MWHAHAHA. Okay no, even though I do like my blog. XDD I really like Animal Jam Artists Collab! I like seeing all the art on there. They're all such talented artists! And, this is kind of a blog, but it's not Animal Jam related. It's called The Christian Beat, which has a lot of the new Christian music news on it! Aaaand I'm not saying who my favorite blogger is. (:

13. I guess just the fact that I have the chance to make Christian posts, and possibly reach someone for Christ. 😊

Nooooow for our second topic!

My friend Housemom418 has a birthday party on Animal Jam coming up, and she wanted me to tell you guys in a post! Since her party is coming up pretty soon, I decided I'd include it in this post.

2. December 1st, 2016 was when I did my first guest post on this blog, because I won a story contest, and thenn I think... December 7th was when I officially became an author and did my first post.

3. This blog, (of course XD), the AJAC and AJC!

4.  I really would like to have an IRL blog to post about books and probably a bit of AJ, but I am not able to unfortunately.

5. Almost 3 years now I think!

6. Back when the DE moderators had personality  initials, I  was/still am, AJ Adventurer, and there were two other people with 'DE' names, DXplorergirl,(Karalee) and Nature Girl (Graciepopstar91) And Snowlondon, who was.. the insanelyaddictedtocommentingcommenter, (correct me if I'm wrong Snow XD!) and Frozenlover/IPSlover*cant get on aj to check the numbers* And I found out Gracie had a blog and started reading it, and thought it was awesome! And then I found more blogs, though actually,  The AJW was the first blog I ever read, because  I was looking up something about AJ toys, and found this post!

7. Karalee and my sis, Ja983 became authors, on the AJFC, and when I won a story contest Gracie let me become one! For the AJC, Arctic was holding auditions, and picked me, and for the AJAC, Crazcatlover was holding auditions, so I filled out the forum and she picked me XD

8. A little more then 4 years!

9. My favorite thing is THE JAMMERS. Bloggers don't have fans, their readers are friends. And my least favorite thing is when people quit blogging for youtubing.

10. Hmm.... cookie clan.. crazy roleplay, talking about 'fruits', talking about books for a long time (Maze Runner and Warrior Cats come up a lot.. XD)

(For those of us who might have missed what's going on at first glance, the person behind the camera was taking a picture of pigeons on the ledge of a second-story balcony, but the color of the ledge blended in perfectly with the parking lot below, creating the illusion that two huge pigeons were standing in the parking lot!)

Rare Item Monday!

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! I hope everyone had a great Easter! For Easter I made homemade macaroni & cheese, collard greens, and ham! Did anybody else do or make anything special? Comment down below!

Thoughts:

I really like this weeks Rare Item Monday! I think the dizzy stars are a silly clothing item that can be used for all things fun! Black and white are colors that can go with almost anything, so that's a big plus.

I Can Only Imagine, The Story Of Forgiveness- The Thief On The Cross

Hey guys! Happy Easter, and welcome to the last post in the #FocusingOnGod month! I think doing this was so much fun, and I'm for sure going to do this again, either later this year, or sometime next year. I loved reading the blog posts! I'm sad this is coming to a close.

Honestly, I'm not really a big fan of doing Animal Jam posts. I prefer doing Christian posts a lot more, so you'll probably see more of those from me!

Also, I'm really sorry if this post is weird, I'm extremely tired from getting up so early this morning.
Like I literally just wrote a sentence I had to delete because it made 0 sense. Forgive me if I don't make sense.

Let's get going with todays post, which is slightly going to be based off of the new movie, I Can Only Imagine! ^.^

Have you ever had someone that you knew you had to forgive, but just thought it would be absolutely impossible to? I know I have.

On March 16th, a movie called I Can Only Imagine came out. Me and my parents went to see it, and honestly, it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. It's based off of MercyMe's lead singer Bart Millard's life. 

Bart's childhood wasn't the best. His dad, Arthur, was very abusive, both physically and verbally, and his parents got a divorce when he was really little. He pretty much had to take care of himself his whole life.

When Bart was in middle school, he started attending almost every trip or event his youth group had. On one of his youth group trips, his youth pastor was talking about forgiveness. He had everyone write in their journals, "I choose to forgive ___". Bart says that he just stared at that, and nearly started crying. He knew he had to forgive his dad who had been so abusive to him, but he just couldn't write that he chose to forgive his dad.

When Bart was in high school, his dad got got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. And then everything changed. God totally opened Bart's dad's eyes, and he was able to see that he needed God. Especially since he only had a few years left to live. In the I Can Only Imagine memoir I'm currently reading, Bart says how he would go in his dads to check on him, and Bart's dad would be asleep, with his Bible opened, and notes scribbles throughout the margins. Him and his dad, for the first time, were able to have real conversations. Bart pretty much became his dad's night time nurse in his last few years, which mean't he would have to give his dad his medicines at around 2 AM or so. Bart says how during those late nights, they would talk so much, and his dad would tell him just hundreds of details of his life.

I just love what Bart wrote in the first chapter of the memoir,

"From a feared monster to a faithful mentor.

From an abusive dad to a loving father.

From a heart of stone to a life of grace"

For a while, Bart held onto some hurt from the past, but he was finally able to let go of that. He was able to finally forgive.

This story reminds me of a story we see in the Bible, while Jesus was hanging on the cross. In those last few moments, a thief that was on the cross next to Jesus, accepted Christ. Here's the story, that's found in Luke 23:39-43.

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

This man who was hanging next to Jesus was a criminal. He may have heard about Jesus at some point of time, but if he was a criminal, I highly doubt he was following Jesus. But at the very last moments of his life, he was forgiven. He accepted Christ.

That's why the story of Bart's dad reminds me so much of the thief on the cross. In the last years of his life, God forgave him. He was such a terrible man. He was abusive. But God still forgave Him, and Bart's dad accepted Christ. 

People may be hard to forgive sometimes, but Jesus forgives them. Jesus forgives you. There isn't anyone he can't forgive. He died on the cross and rose again for you, so you could be forgiven from your sins. That's why we celebrate Easter!

So no matter what you've done, God can forgive you. No matter what your family has done, God can forgive them. No matter what anyone has done, God can forgive everyone.
