Hello Jammers! 

This is going to be a cheesy post, so lets get straight to it.

My estimation is that there are only roughly 25-33 ACTIVE bloggers. Which is why I feel absolutely horrible when I find a blog that has been up for more then a year or month that I didn't know anything about. Meanwhile, there are hundreds, no, thousands of youtubers and instagramers. Whom, AJHQ acknowledges a LOT more then they do us, despite that most instagramers only normally post a few sentences plus a picture (and a load of hashtags)  Bloggers, unlike some people COUGH COUGH LITERALLY ALL THE JAMBASSADORS&FAMOUS(at least semi famous) JAMMERS EXCEPT AS FAR AS I CAN TELL GELLYJONES WHO TAKES SELFIES WITH HER FANS.  They take the time to reply to most comments, talk to their viewers on Animal Jam, and more. I think a lot of famous Jammers consider there fans to be, just that. Fans. Something to get their numbers up. Lot's of people join youtube to be famous, lots of people only keep going because they are famous. Nothing driving them except the fact they are getting lots of publicity. Now adays nobody would join blogging to become famous

nobody.

Ever.

Because it probably isn't going to happen GIVE US A BLOGGER PLAQUE AJHQ ITS NOT HARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD  

 The Blogging Community is a we try at least. close knit community.  I'd say everybody has at least heard of each other.  Nobody here cares about being famous. Blogs are just completely FULL of info about EVERYTHING! Items, adventures, den tips, trading tips, art tips, (even what to read tips)
So why do we want a blogger plaque?
Two reasons for me sorta
1. It would mean AJHQ would stop ignoring us and acting like we don't do anything for the community.
2. IT WOULD JUST BE COOL.
3. (okay I lied, its three) More people would join blogging, though I see now they would only join it for fame. But some bloggers did join for fame, still aren't famous but stick around for the friends. 
There has never ever been giant drama (julian2 drama for example. Think about it, little kids were watching those videos.) 
A few (weeks, days?) ago, Doomypanda made this really cool graphic to put on the side of the AJ blogs!   So what are you waiting for? Go put it on the side of your blog!

Blogger Request -- Sapphira Adi from Oracles of Fire!

Hey guys!

It's Karalee again!



Remember last week when I tried to draw one Princess Sapphire from Wings of Fire?

Turns out I bungled that pretty badly. 😆 I was supposed to draw a character named Sapphira from Oracles of Fire! (As it happens, the character IS an Oracle of Fire.)

This week: a redo! Here's how to make Sapphira Adi -- chibi edition!



Step 1: Reference Photo.

Got this from the Dragons in Our Midst Wiki.

Step 2: Basic Sketch.

Made using the Soft Pastel brush on Procreate.





Step 3: Lineart.

Made using the Script brush.





Step 4: Realize You Accidentally Put the Lineart and the Basic Sketch on the Same Layer and Get Annoyed.

Grrrrr....





Step 5: Redraw the Lineart and Color.

Ta-daaaaaa! 😋





I now know that Sapphira's tunic's crest has a red dragon on it, but shortsighted little me took a quick look at the ref on the computer late at night, and thought, "Oh, a sun! Cool, that makes sense because the sun is made up of really really hot fire"... and the poor red dragon blended into the red shirt and got left out of it entirely. I would redraw, but it's past my bedtime and I gotta hurry this post up!

Today's RIM is being sold for 850 gems in Jam Mart Clothing, on the 9th page, and it's colors are black, red, and white!

Personally, I think these boots are super cute! I think I'd give it about 8/10. I would probably give it a higher rating, if it looked a little nicer on animals.

I promise I don't get scared from music but when I hear creepy music like in a movie or something I start to get worked up, like fidgety and stuff :P

Balloosh? Theories? EYES?

Hey Jammers, Arctic here! And I know what you're thinking:

"Balloosh? Again? Everyone and their grandma is talking about Balloosh now!"

Haha, I don't blame you- but this is pretty big! We haven't had a new land in... forever!

I definitely think the name sounds a bit funny, haha. That apart: LET ME TELL YOU. I LOVE HOW MYSTICAL THIS IS.

What with the lanterns and stones and all, I got a very mystical vibe from this. I can almost imagine tons of interesting creatures hiding in the shadows! So, to fit the magical vibes, I used some of my more interesting animals and took a tour of the place.

I couldn't take my EYE off of anything! Get it? Because... my butterfleye? Get it? ButterflEYE? Because it's an eye with wings?

Mmk.

I think you get it.


I'll stop now.

But seriously! I love the whole feel of this place, though it definitely doesn't feel like Jamaa to me, if that makes sense. Everything gives off a vibe that doesn't feel like it could be found on Earth. This isn't really the case with the other lands. I feel like the other lands still seem very 'realistic' (ironic for a game, I know) and like they're from this world. But this land explores a completely different side of Jamaa: one of lore and magic. It's pretty cool don't you think? Eye sure think so!

Alright I'll stop.

I've always found greens and blues to be very beautiful, and the serenity AJ captures with this is just phenomenal!

I have noticed something else though! All these strange runes and symbols on the stones remind me of the ruins of that ancient civilization we were introduced to in "The Mystery Below" adventure.

While that adventure definitely was NOT one of my favourites (I dunno, leading moths around to rocks was kind of mind-numbing to me, but I digress!) it does raise a lot of questions. What happened to this civilization? What kinds of animals were there? And if they spent so much time underground or in caves, why are their ruins also ABOVE ground and OUTSIDE of their established home? What did they do for food?

I definitely think we'll be hearing more about these guys, and I'm certain that AJHQ has a reason for putting some of this strange architecture here the way they did. What do you guys think? Any theories about this civilization? Tell me below!

Also, what do you guys like about the new land? I wanna know!

It was not in stores about the time I first got membership, and it was extremely rare to see part of this armor set, though my brother pob983 (When he played, now he really doesn't) managed to get the full set as he was/is an armor collector, and when it came back in 2016  we were very very shocked when it did.

Next.. the Magenta Phase!  

Basically the Magenta Phase, (As I like to call it) was when a LOT of various items got glitched MAGENTA into the game, starting with a spike owned by Pillowcloud

And then this sheep cloak, which I like to call magenta mashed potatoes :D There were sooo many more magenta items,

Thee most forgotten thing EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER But believe it or not, in later 2010 and 2011 (and a little of 2012? I dunno for sure) it was a BIG thing, before youtube and instagram (DONT get me started on Instagram) Actually wait, according to AJHQ, they read our blogs (hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm) So.. AJHQ listen to this rant, everyone else, cover yo ears.   

Not everybody has a phonte (like me) or those who do, cna't always get instagram (like me) and yet you do EVERYTHING on instagram, and NOTHING on the daily explorer anymore. There are all these contests, but you need a PHONE to do instagram! You didn't even do the Imagination Fair last year!
