New Animal Jam Books - Den Handbook, Animal Handbook, Activity Book, and Sticker Book!

Hi guys! Can you believe it's Thursday already (or technically Wednesday since I'm writing this on a Wednesday...)?! This week has been flying!

I hadn't checked Amazon in a while to see if there was any new AJ merch, so I looked last night, and I found some new books that released in October that I wanted to post about! Let's get started!

In total, there was four new books I found. The first I wanted to cover was called "Animal Jam: Den Handbook: Your guide to decorating, decking out, and designing the ultimate Epic Den", which seems to be about how to decorate your den, and the dens themselves, both in Animal Jam, and "Animal Jam - Play Wild!". Here's the cover of the book,

I'm surprised this book is only $7.54 for a hardcover! Pretty good deal for this type of book.

I haven't gotten any Animal Jam merch in a long time, but I would totally love this book! I looove decorating dens. It's one of my favorite features on AJ!

The next book is called, "Animal Jam: Animal Handbook: Your guide to the awesome animals and fantastic fashions of Jamaa". I'm pretty sure this one is about the animals on AJ, and AJ fashion.

Again, $7.54! At a price like this, this would make a great gift for a fellow jammer, especially if you have Amazon Prime and can get free shipping!

This also would be a fun book to have! I think the "Fantastic Fashions!" section would be a great read.

The next book is called, "Animal Jam Activity Book", which was released a little bit earlier than the other two books. Here's the front cover,

This one is a little more expensive, at $9.99. Not a bad price though!

This is, hence the title, an activity book. The description says, "Play wild with this exciting Animal Jam themed activity book filled with 100 superfun things to do, including puzzles, crosswords, word searches, stickers, cards, color-by-number, trivia, complete-the-story activities, true/false quizzes, mazes, sudoku, and more.". Some of the activities, like this one,

Seem to be for younger kids, but some of them aren't. I think my niece would really like this book! I really want to get this for her. While she was living with us for a while, she sat on my lap every morning with me while I played Animal Jam. She loved to draw, and look at the animals. She would absolutely love this!

The last book, the Animal Jam sticker book, released in April of last year. Here's the front cover of that,

This book is being sold for $9.51, and seems very similar to the activity book, except there's tooons of stickers! Here's one of the activities in the book,

I think my niece might like this book even more, because of all the stickers!

No More "There's Power In The Word..."

Okay, so the last past few weeks I've been debating with myself if I should continue with my "There's Power in the Word" series. The last 2-3 posts I haven't enjoyed writing. I feel like I am saying the same thing over and over again. Don't get me wrong there is so much in that passage, but I took too much upon my self. It got boring for the readers and  for me as the writer. (I talked to a friend who said she stopped reading it). It was good for the time being, but now it's a new season in life. It's time to move on. I may come back to TPITW in the future, I don't know, but for now I am stopping the series. I hope you all understand. 😉


With that being said, I am still doing my Christian posts every other week, but it will be on different topics, not limited to one set of scripture. Today, I am going to be talking about something I've been thinking about the last few days...

 WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A CHRISTIAN?

I am currently reading a book called In His Steps by Charles Monroe Sheldon. Well, technically listening to it, since it's an audio book, but whatever. In this book it proposes the question "What would Jesus Do?" Now, it seems simple, but it's easy to understand. What would Jesus do?

We are a testimony to a lost a dying world. Are we really showing them what it means to be a Christian? We are to be showing this world what it means to be a Christian. I am guilty of calling myself a Christian, but not acting like one. I want to do better at being a Christian. 

Recently, I've seen a quote that said...

To be a Christian it means to have Christ in the fore front of your mind. To have a relationship with Jesus Christ. It's not about going to church. It's about being real and authentic. Having Christ is the most important thing in this life. If we can give that to others, that's a wonderful gift.

I’m Back! + Rare Item Monday!

Hey, Jammers! Its CoolCat here with another post! I’m happy to say that I am back! I do want to apologize to everyone for disappearing without notice. I’m not even sure when my last post was, but I’m pretty sure it was before Thanksgiving. I was very busy over the holidays, and I have been busy with family. With both of those things I was just not able to keep up with posting. Even though the holidays are over, this new year will be extremely busy for me. Even though I will be busy, I will continue to post! Sorry for rambling, so without wasting anymore time let’s get started!

Today’s Rare Item Monday for Animal Jam is the Rare Snowflake Hoodie!

Thoughts: I really am loving today’s RIM for Animal Jam! Even since the weather has gotten cooler I’ve been basically living in my hoodies. It’s great to see one for today’s Rare Item Monday!

Year Of The Pig Party, And AJFC's New Year's Party!

February 5th is Chinese New Year, and this years animal is the pig! So Animal Jam is celebrating, by having a special party on Animal Jam, that's only for pigs! Let's take a look at that today!

Every year, Animal Jam does a party like this, except every year it's a different animal. It's a Chinese thing, where every year there's a different animal theme... Housemom418 told me that it's used to date the years... Don't ask me why that is, because I have no clue. XD

Here's where you walk in,

To the right is the shop,

Which has this adorable little piggy banner. XD

And here are the items from the shop! Pretty sure almost all of these items were previously sold in Jam Mart Furniture...

To the left of the shop is a little table with food!

Above the shop, is a waterfall! The waterfalls are actually slides you can access from above.

A cute little mountain trail leading up to the waterfalls, aaaand,

This! I love how some parties have a little place to watch the fireworks from.

There are more fireworks to the right.

Despite all the lag at this party, I think it's really cute! I love all the nature aspects Animal Jam adds to their parties, and the realistic backgrounds they create.

On a second note, yesterday I had AJFC's New Year's party! Here's some pictures from that.

Then we played a New Year's trivia game! Technically Housemom418 won... She was the only one who got a question right. And it was an easy question. I think the questions I found were a liiiittle too difficult. Hehe.

Doing Each Adventure In Normal Mode (Part 2)

HELLO, GUYS! We are on part two this week of the adventures! Man this last week was crazy busy, hence the reason Gracie filled in for me! Thank you again, Gracie! I appreciate it! So, for this week we have 10 adventures. Anyway, let's get into it!

So, this time I TRIED to take pictures of my gem amount before and after each adventure. I forgot about getting gems each time you kill a phantom, so this amount will be a more accurate count of how many gems you get each adventure. So, we're starting with 2,245 gems.

Here, I leveled up my penguin, when I opened the chest.

I was clicking too fast through the ending remarks, so I am not exactly sure which I picked, but I am pretty sure it was the bottom right box.

I died...2 times.

It took... 18 minutes.

Gem total...1,870.

 

We are starting with 4,120, since I did this adventure immediately after the previous one.

 

 I am a good AJ citizen, I helped saved ALL these dolphins. We should be seeing many more dolphins around in the near future!

I died...3 times.

It took...23 minutes.

Gem total...1,675.

Here I had to switch accounts, since I didn't want to recycle my bunny or my penguin on my main...Non-member problems!

I died...4 times.

It took...15 minutes.

Gem total...829.

 

 This one, I ended up playing 3 times! The first time, I got about half way through. I went to make lunch quick, them I got thrown out of the adventure. The second time I was literally at  the end, then I clicked on a tab on my computer, which closed Animal Jam. The third time was a miracle. I finally got through without something happening! So, the first 2 rounds I made 1,288 gems.

I died...4 times. (Third round) 

It took...17 minutes. (Third round)

Gem total...2,454 (All Three rounds) 

I died...12 times. 

It took...29 minutes.

My gems are a mess, because I forgot to take the photo before. I did this adventure the next day, so I have had my spin already. I am guessing I got close to 400, for this adventure though.

 We switched back to my main account for this one, since you did not need to be a special animal for it.

I died...2 times. 

It took...22 minutes.

Gem total...855.

 

I died...4 times.

It took... 28 minutes.

I am not sure how many gems I got, because again, I forgot to take pictures! SOORRRRY!

I died...8 times. 

It took...25 minutes. 

Between the Storming the Fortress and Trials of Zios adventures I got 573 gems. 

The next 2 my sister played for me, since I was running out of time to post. (Yes, I prepared a little in the beginning of the week, then totally forgot about it, so I am doing it on Wednesday). Thank you, sis!

She died...1 time. 

It took her...29 minutes. 

She earned me...260 gems.

She died...3 times.

It took her...18 minutes.

She earned me...1,591.
