The Affect We Have on Others

Hey y'all! Welcome back to another blog post. Today, I decided that I'd do a different blog post. (well, this is a Sunday that I'm writing this so... I guess Sunday I decided this, hehe) I haven't really felt like doing Animal Jam posts lately, and that's because there's not much to get out of Animal Jam now. Maybe that's just me growing out of the game, I'm not sure. But either way, I felt like God placed this on my heart to make a blog post on this. Why? I'm not sure. But I'd rather do what He says rather than find out a hard way. Let's get into it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Often times we don't realize the affect that we have on others. We don't realize that people are watching every action we make. We play such a big affect on others, but we don't see that far, and we just pay attention to what we want to do. What does God want us to do? Are you really doing what He's telling you to, or are you doing what you yourself want to do for your own reputation? Often times we say that we do what God wants us to do all of the time... but the truth of the matter is that we often only do what He says to do when we want to do that very thing. We are constantly struggling in our lives between the spiritual side and the flesh. Will you follow the flesh... or will you follow God?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a hymn that is probably one of my favorite hymns. It always catches my attention. I'm not sure who exactly wrote this hymn, but whoever wrote this hymn probably has a good story behind it. Here's the first verse, and the chorus.
Who is on the Lord's side?
                                  Who will serve the King?
                           Who will be His helpers,
                      Other lives to bring?
Who will leave the world's side?
            Who will face the foe?
Who is on the Lord's side?
                    Who for Him will go?
                 By Thy grand redemption,
                  By Thy grace divine,
            We are on the Lord's side;
          Savior, we art Thine!
                  ---------------------------------------------
I love this hymn so much. Are you on the Lord's side? Will you serve the King?
Will you be His helper?
Will you leave the world's side?
Will you face the foe?
Will you go?
Are you going to be a stumbling block to those who are around you?
A stumbling block is somebody who gets in somebody's road. They cause the other to stumble. Your actions may lead to somebody to stumble, and sometimes they even give up in the Christian life. They start to stop doing things that please God, and then get onto the other path which leads to a fall. Watch your actions.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have so many more things I could tell you, but I feel as if this is extremely important. Don't give up in your Christian life. You may be the one who stumbled because of somebody, or some thing. Continue on your Christian journey, things just get harder and harder, but in the end I can promise you this...
This is just a little poem that I found on the internet, credits to whoever made it, I changed some of the words to fit the Christian life however... here it is.
It will be worth it at the end.
It will hurt.
It will take time.
It will require dedication.
It will require faith.
You will need to make decisions.
It requires sacrifice.
You will need to keep running the race.
There will be temptations to travel on a different path.
But I promise you, when you reach the heavenly goal, It's
Worth it.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I guess that is it for today's post y'all. I think I might continue this next week as well.
Bye y'all! Here's today's Bible verse.
Titus 2:13 (KJV)
 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

When You Feel Like God is Done With You...

Hello, everyone!

"Greetings, Houze!"

It's nice to see you all today.

"You too!"

Even if I woke up like this?

"That's not what we were really going for, but hey, I guess it works."

Aw! You really mean that?"

"Yes!" :Smiles and secretly chuckles:

YAY! You guys are so nice!

:Whispers: "The joke is on her."

__________________________________________________________________

How was that for an intro? I'm trying to bring the crazy intros back. Also, you may have noticed I was on my backup for that photo. My membership expired and to avoid losing all of my looks I got on my backup. I am going to be renewing my membership on the 1st. I think that's enough talking now. Let's get into the post.

Today we're going to looking at a time in Peter's life when he felt like God was done with him. You probably know the story. You may have found yourself in the same story. I know I have. The story takes place in 33 AD, when Jesus was being led away to die, for ALL man's sin. (Matthew 26)

Jesus knew that Peter was going to deny Him. In fact, He told Peter that he was going to deny Him.
Telling him, "Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice."
Peter was warned to, "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." However even with the warning from Jesus Christ himself he still fell.

There are times in life, when we want to be pleasing to the Lord, following Him. We can see that Peter, wanted to please the Lord. He didn't want to deny him saying, "Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee." We can see this in the previous chapters, when he was walking and following Jesus. However, sometimes we fall. We fail. After all, we are human. We are sinners.  The temptation is there to do wrong - to deny that we know Jesus.

When we do wrong we see the damage that's done. It can seem so big, that you begin to think that God is done with you. That God can't use you anymore. You know you've hurt Him. This is why the Bible adds a nugget saying, "And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly."

The fact that Peter went out and wept bitterly, showed that he was mad. He was mad at himself. He couldn't believe what he just did. He couldn't believe that he was so bold to say that he wouldn't deny Him, and yet within hours he did exactly that.

I'm glad the story doesn't end there though. That's not the last thing we hear about Peter. Fast forward a couple of books, to John 21 where Jesus is having a personal conversation with Peter. Jesus asks Peter a very important question. "Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these?" It's interesting to me that he uses "Simon, son of Jonas." To me it sounds like when a parent is upset and says your full name to get your attention.

At this moment, Peter had to come face-to-face to who he really was. Sometimes, we have to come face-to-face to who we really are and why we did what we did. The truth of the matter, is God loves you. He wants to use you. He can use you even when you mess up. The next words that Jesus said to Peter were, "Feed my lambs.

Peter had a purpose in his life - to spread the gospel and feed the flock of God. Even though, Peter may have messed up and denied Him. He still wanted to use Peter. God wasn't done with Peter, and He's not done with you.

Each one of you have a purpose in your life. God has a plan for your life. God doesn't want you to not fulfill that plan, but you can, if you think God is done with you.  God is not done with you. He's not done with me.

I've had to learn this lesson recently, as I thought since I haven't been writing like I should. (As I know I'm called to write.) I thought maybe God would just give up on me, since obviously He couldn't trust me with the thing He gave me - a talent for writing. I haven't given up, and by God's grace I won't. I know what I am to do. I know God is not done with me!

*Quotes in blue are from (in order as written): Matthew 26:34; 26:41; 26:35; 26:75; and John 21:15*

__________________________________________________________________

Looks like that puts a bow on this post. Just remember God is not done with you yet. He does have a plan for your life and it may just take some time for Him to reveal it.  I love how God is teaching me lessons. I love being able to share them with you all. Thank you guys for joining me today, and I'll see you all in the next post. For now, goodbye!!!!!!!!

Drawing 6 Animals from the Animal Books

Hello everyone! I'm so glad you're joining me today.

Today I figured since I enjoyed drawing the fox so much last week, or I guess it was two weeks ago now...yep I'm sorry! (I guess it was three weeks ago at this point...yeah. I ummm, may have forgot to publish this last week. I thought I hit publish, after I scheduled it, but I didn't! Anyway, back to the past). Missy had to go to the vet for some of her shots. Speaking of Missy! She's getting so big! Here is a recent photo of her:

:Cries: My baby is growing up way too fast! What a sweet little girl she is...when she's not biting. Anyway, enough about Missy. Let's get into today's post!

_________________________________________________________________

1) Falcon:

Here is the falcon, I did it traditional colors, along with all of the other animals I drew. I'm really pleased with how this one turned out. I completed this one in a whopping 39 minutes. I um, can't remember why this one took me so long. I was either doing little things in between or obsessing over it to make it perfect...or maybe a little bit of both. I did screw up on the wings where there are supposed to be little "cuts", well when I lined it. I um, went the whole way, instead of leaving them open...OOPS!

2) Deer:

My wonderful deer! This one I'm most proud of.  I love the Animal Jam deer so much as an animal. When I saw this as a option, I knew I needed to draw it. It took me 26 minutes to complete this one.

3) Goat:

Then, we have the goat. This little guy was the last good one I drew. At this point, I was getting tired... However, I knew I couldn't stop because I procrastinated and decided to draw these Tuesday evening...
So from here, they go down hill. The darker gray pen that I used is WAYYYY too dark. I had no idea it was that dark until it was too late. Oh well I guess. This one took me 27 minutes to complete.

4) Panda:

See? I told ya they went down hill. It's standing on what? What is up with those legs? They're bent so awkwardly! The purples are way too dark! Originally the lighter purple was supposed to be the darker purple, but apparently when I picked up my pen, I picked up the wrong one. So, I had to compromise and pull out a even darker purple to make it look like it was done on purpose. This one took 16 minutes to complete.

5) Otter:

I like this one somewhat. The lighter brown could have went above his left eye a bit more (if you're looking at it - right eye) Actually that eye, is bad in general. Also, when I signed it...um yeah...I forgot my e in "housE"' So um yeah, at this point I stopped for the night. It took me 24 minutes to complete this one.

6) Cheetah:

For this one, I didn't have 100% the correct colors. But hey, I like really do like this one, especially with the swirls. I originally had intentions on making my own looks for these guys and dressing them up, but um, with how long it took me to just sketch and outline them. I quickly decided to rule that idea out. Maybe in a future post, I don't know. I did this one today, and it took me 24 minutes to do.

Also, you'll notice I messed up my signature...AGAIN!

Lastly, we have them all together.

And that's the end...This was definitely a more time consuming post, but let's be honest. I loved it! I would totally do this over again. I enjoyed it, hope you did too! Thanks for joining me for another Wednesday post. I'm done saying "I'll see you next week," because I never know if I'm able to post next week. Anyway....BYEEEEEEE!!!

Happy Valentines Day 2020!

Happy Valentines Day, y'all! This blog post is going to be a little bit different from my normal blog posts since today is a Holiday, and I've decided that I'd like to do a friendship blog post. Friendship is extremely important, because none of us should be alone. Being alone could get you in trouble, and you can get severely depressed and upset, and it will change your life. Real friends are there for you, all of the time, even through the deepest and darkest parts of your life. Embarrassing moments, awkward moments, happy moments, scary moments, and sad moments, they are there. That's why today, I wanted to just appreciate all of my friends who have been there for me when I was going through dark times in my life. If you were not on this list, that does not mean that you weren't there for me. I am thankful for all of my friends, and all of the viewers that view this blog. None of these people are in order, however these are people who mean a lot to me. Here they are.

1. Thesupercollie

We have been through a lot together, and she's always there to make me smile. Thank you, "Tropical!"

2. Graciepopstar91

Gracie and I have been friends since... well, probably 4 years now? We have been through a lot, and when we need someone to talk to, we are here for each other! Thank you, Gracie Boo!

3. Binx1184

Even though we don't talk very often, she's still always there, and I really appreciate it! She makes me laugh and smile, all of the time. Thank you, Binx!

4. Gizmo634

We haven't been talking much lately, however  we still have that friendship that tells you that we are close. She's overall an awesome girl, and I really appreciate her! Thank you, Gizmo!

5. Twinkle

I didn't feel like typing out her whole username so... LOL But, she knows who she is. I'm extremely thankful for her. Our beliefs are the same, which is always fun to talk about with each other and our opinions on the subject. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face, Twinkle!
==========================================================================
Well, I guess that is it today y'all! I hope you guys have a wonderful Valentine's Day! Here's our weekly meme!
This of course is not true, but I thought it was pretty funny.
And here's today's bible verse!
1 John 4:12 (KJV)
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
