ANIMAL JAM UPDATE 12/3/2020!!

I decided that I would do another blog post today because I feel like posting again! 😁

 TODAY WE ARE GOING TO BE CHECKING OUT THE UPDATE THAT ANIMAL JAM JUST RELEASSSSEEED...

And guess what... (hehehe)

IT'S THE JAMAALIDAY UPDATE!

I don't know if it's just me, but every year I always look forward to the Jamaalidays coming around, because of the holiday spirit and all of the decorations that come out. 

Without talking to much, let's get right into the 12/3/2020 update!!

"In order to run AJ Classic in a web browser, we use  program called Adobe Flash. Unfortunately, support for Flash is COMING TO AN END THIS DECEMBER. Don't worry, AJ Classic isn't going anywhere, but to continue playing you will NEED TO DOWNLOAD THE AJ CLASSIC DESKTOP APP.

Grab an adult and install by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to CLASSIC.ANIMALJAM.COM

Step 2: Click on the button that says "Download for PC & Mac"

Step 3: A file called AnimalJamInstaller.exe will start to download

Step 4: OPEN AnimalJamInstaller.exe and let it run

Step 5: The AJ Classic Desktop Client will launch automatically!

And that's it! Once you're using the AJ CLASSIC DESKTOP APP, you'll be able to keep on playing AJ Classic for a long time to come!"

I told y'all this in the last blog post, but please make sure to download the Desktop version, so that y'all can keep playing!! :)

I remember when this den first came out, and how excited all of us nonmembers (I was a nonmember at the time) were! This den is perfect for the season, so make sure to get this den and decorate it for the upcoming season!

I remember that Gracie has this den, and every year she would normally change it to this den. It's such a fun den to decorate every year, so once again if you are member, make sure to pick this up!!!

Every year, a couple friends and I get together to play this adventure. It sets the mood so much! Not only that, at the end of the maze, it is always fun to get more den decorating items. If any of y'all want to play this with me sometime, comment down below and we'll work out a time!

So as I said earlier, there are pet reindeers in Jamaa now. In order to pick them up, you have to go to the Jamaaliday Jam! This is party that you can find obviously in the party section, so also make sure to check this party out, because not only is there reindeer... (there are even items!)

JAMAALIDAY PARTY + STORY CONTEST 2020/2021?!

Long time no seen!

I know I said I was going to be posting again and *ahem* apparently that didn't happen.

BUT I AM BACKKKKK TODAYYYY TO DO ANOTHER BLOG POST! 😂😂

Today's blog post is going to be a funnnnn oneeeee! 

However, first off, I decided to get to some not so exciting news. Unfortunately, Animal Jam was hit by a data breach back in October and I wanted to let y'all know that Animal Jam is not going to let you sign into your account if you do not change it first. So, if you were wondering why you can't log into Animal Jam, just make sure to create a strong password and if you were affected by the breach, I'd recommend changing your email password as well that is linked up to your account. 

The second thing that I wanted to say, is that Flash is going away. Please make sure to download the Animal Jam Desktop version if you have not already, because you will not be able to log on otherwise.

Now, onto the fun part!!

Today I am going to be hosting a JAMAALIDAY PARTY!! This party is for the upcoming holiday, Christmas!!! Here are the details!!

DECEMBER 19TH, (SATURDAY) 

2 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)

PST (Pacific Standard Time) 11:00

Those are the main times that y'all are most and likely in.

Whew! Now that all of that is out of the way, it's time to get onto the main topic here...

STORY CONTEST 2021!!! 

Yep, you heard that right!!

Several people have asked for it this year, and as a little surprise (hehe) I decided to do it!!!

However, you can't have a story contest without a theme, am I right?!

Here's the theme:

The Night Before Christmas

 I know some of y'all are probably thinking, "But House, there's no way we're going to be able to get this done before Christmas!"

You're right! 😂😂 This contest will end January 17th, 2021. 

Normally each year, we do the story a little bit longer than this, but I decided that the minimum length to the story will be 1,600 words. 

As always, we have rules each year.

 

Rules:

1. Your story must be 4-5 chapters long. Each chapter must be 400 (minimum) 550 words (maximum) words.
2. To enter, you must put your story in the comments of AJFC (please put your username in the Name/Url to enter), or give me a private link to your story using GoogleDocs, or a private link through your blog.
3. Please do NOT include ANY personal information in your story. Such as your phone number, or your parents phone number, your name, email, home address, etc. If you do, you will be disqualified from the contest. 
4. Please do NOT copy ANYONE else's stories.
5. You MUST have your stories in the comments by Jan 15th, 2021. And for safety reasons, I will only have your story published in the comments for a few minutes, then save it in my writing program, so no one can cheat and use parts of your story in theres.

Fall Update! 9/3/2020

HEY Y'ALLLLLL! 

I'm very aware I haven't posted in a very long time... geez... JUNE?! Lord have mercy, I am so sorry y'all! 

Any who, I really want to start posting again, but I never feel like it, and now that school is back up... (normally I would enjoy doing my posts in the morning, post them late in the evening) I haven't been able to do that. BUT! Today Animal Jam updated, which although I've started to grow out of Animal Jam, the Fall updates are perfeeeection. So... That's what Imma post about today! Hereeee we go!

I love these Autumn Coyotes! The first time they came out I believe was in 2018, and I've always loved them since! But Fall is my favorite season... so I can't say too much. 😂

Why I Haven't Been Posting

Hey guys! Welcome back to another blog post. I see I haven't posted in a long time. I'm so sorry guys! I need to get back to doing it. ^.^  Right off of the bat, I'm just going to tell you guys why I have been absent. I haven't enjoyed posting. It used to be one of those things where I really enjoyed to get my thoughts out, by writing. But lately, as I'm getting older, I've really been growing out of Animal Jam. There's not much to do there anymore. Although I know that I could totally write Christian posts, and I love the idea of that, it just hasn't been what I've enjoyed doing. I am so so so thankful for a God who cares, and who I can go to when I am down. And although I could totally write about Him, I'm just not too confident in writing about Him yet. Animal Jam has been my passion for so many years, and I've met so many great people on there, but right now, I feel as if there is not much of a point in playing. I truly hope that everybody supports me on the fact that Animal Jam just hasn't been fun, but I know that some will disagree. For now, I am not planning on quitting blogging, nor planning on quitting Animal Jam. It kind of ties in with what my sister said a bit ago. You probably just won't see me post every week. I know that there are so many people who enjoy reading my posts, and I love those people with so much of my heart, but there just hasn't been much to post about lately. In my previous blog posts, I kind of felt like I was repeating myself so many times, which I was. I hope to give you good quality blog posts from now on, and not just a blog post that I didn't know what to post about, so I just rambled over and over again. Hopefully, I'll post on Friday of this week or next week. Thank you so much guys, for still reading my blog posts. It's truly a huge encouragement. Bye guys! :)

 

                                

Just Some Thoughts...

Hey, everyone! It's Housemom322 here. You've probably forgot who I was at this point. It's been A LONG time and I do apologize for that. A lot has been happening lately and AJ is well kind of getting boring at this point for me. I know my quality has really gone down over the last few months (maybe even year), even getting to the point where I'm not even posting.

I just don't know what to do. I want to post, but at the same I don't want to be posting because "I need to."

I want to bring you guys posts that I'm proud of and I haven't felt that way for a while. My goal from the beginning was to write engaging posts that I was happy with, and I've failed to accomplish that goal. I don't even remember what the goals I made for this year, but I know I've failed at 95% of them. It hurts me to know this.

I am a perfectionist at heart. It hurts me when I fail at something. Y'all might not even read this jumbly post, and it's okay. I just want to get a few things off of my mind.

1) I still love posting and want to continue to post...

Just maybe not about AJ. It seems a lot of those who I've grew up with on AJ have also moved on. It's just hard to write about something when you're not passionate about it anymore. I want to have my heart behind all of my posts. Therefore, if you see an Animal Jam post from me; you'll  know I have put all my effort into it.

2) I want to do more Christian posts.

I know I've said this at the beginning of the year, but it is something that I truly want to do. Like I said, I want to write about things that I'm passionate about. I am passionate about being a Christian. I want to share that love with you all. However, they are not the most popular posts, but to me that never really mattered. It's just if I focus on writing Christian posts and they're not popular then I'm not really sharing the message I want to share anyway.

So, either way I look at it. I have a decision to make - either quit posting all together, or keep posting and post only things that I love. I am pretty sure I want to continue to post, so that really only leaves me with one option.

I'm going to continue to post, but it may not be every week. I'm going to try hard to do it every week, but I'm not going to guarantee it.

Well, I guess that's all the thoughts I have today. Hopefully, things will get better in the future. I'm not ready to say goodbye yet, therefore I'm not. I just want you all to know my intentions and what is going on. Well, I'll see you guys next time. BYYYYEEEEEEE!

Playing the Spring Festival Adventure!

Hey, everybody! It's been a long time since I've posted. A lot has changed during the last month, not that, that's an excuse. So, my sister has kind of hinted at it, but I got a job in March, hence the reason I haven't been posting. However, with the Coronavirus going around I've been off for about a week now and will continue to be off until further notice. So, hopefully I'll have time (maybe or maybe not) to prewrite some posts. I am really missing work though. Anyway, now that you've all heard a little life update...How are you all doing?

Since, it's been forever since I've gotten on Animal Jam...and I missed Lucky Clovers (I only played like 2 or 3 times). We're going to be doing the next seasonal adventure, which is the Spring Festvial adventure. Let's get started!

First, go to an empty world (so we're practicing social distancing).
