Jamaa Journal Vol... I'm too lazy to check.. Jamaalidays!

Me: Hey Jammers! Today we have an update!
You guys: Wheres Gracie?!
Me: On vacation!
You guys: Why are you posting for her?
Me: She asked me too, because she is on vacation.
You guys: Ughhh fineee... get it over with.
Me: ?
You guys: ...

This adventure is cool I guess, there are small scrolls laying around everywhere:

How long wait back

You didn't throw away the key?

They will thinkk.
"It looks like an underground city!"

Did they go in a time machine?!

Heartwarming... XD

I love how Cosmo asks why the Phantoms haven't destroyed the city-even though there are Phantoms all over it XD
Personally, I hated this adventure.
The story was cool, but it was just super confusing to me, most of the time I was wondering where the heck everything was, so it wasn't exactly enjoyable.

Woohoo! :D

Hmm... Soo... this armor is going to have the rare tag on? Buy em buy em everyone! XDD

Do you have to buy membership again?....

'Jamaaliday Jam' its peppermint flavored Jam!
The only reason why the other reindeer let Rudulf in their reindeer games is because they would be on the noddy list if they weren't nice to him :)
They still hated him inside tho

All the lands are winterish!
I must congratulate the person who made the sculptor  with their paws

I love those trees

Those are GIANT gingerbread men o,o

Alpha HQ looks so pretty :D

I love that fireplace

And lots of new items in the store! I gotta trade so many things to my storageeee
Farewell Jammers! Have a good holiday season ;)

AJHQ Obsessed Over Youtubers Too Much.. Even with MANNEQUINS?!

Hi Jammers! Today I bring you a sorta short ranty post!

AJHQ obsesses over youtuebrs WAYYYYYY too much, how do they do it with mannequins?
Wistera, cheese tiger, random, sloth meme youtube thing (I forget what it was XD) Pilot penguin/Sethhy,

Gelly, Bepper, ALMOST EVERY SINGLE YOUTUBER, popular, Candle Crocs/AJHQ

It's getting reallllllly annoying how much AJHQ obsesses over youtubers :/
There is a rumor going around that they get free membership! I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.I mean, they do get free toys (Even though they are like about 16, older then that)  Its getting annoying.

Stay safe and Jam on!!

Rare Item Monday! + Question Of The Day!

Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! It feels like its been forever since I last did a post. Before I continue I just want to thank Gracie for covering for me for the past few weeks! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! And that leads me to todays question of the day.

QOTD: What did you do for Thanksgiving?

AOTD: I watched the parade, help cook the food, and just relaxed!

Comment down below what you do for Thanksgiving!

Now lets get on with todays Rare Item Monday!

Todays Rare Item Monday is the Rare Investigators Hat!

Thoughts: I really like this weeks Rare Item Monday! I think if would be perfect for the detectives of Jamaa! You could roam around Jamaa and solve mysteries with your buddies! I think the mix of brown, green, and yellow make for a perfect Investigator hat!

I rate this weeks Rare Item Monday a 10!

Comment down below what you think of todays Rare Item Monday!

Here is todays verse.

"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. this is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved - and that by God." -Philippians 1:27-28

As always, bye Jammer's! And ~Jam On!~

Leaving Tomorrow!

Hey Jammers! Graciepopstar91 here with a quick post!

I just wanted to let you all know, that we're leaving for vacation tomorrow! I've been trying to figure out what times I'll be on Animal Jam, so below is a list of times I will most likely be on Animal Jam. These are estimated times, so it may not be exact.

November 28th: 6:45 AM Pacific Standard Time

November 29th: 6:45 AM Pacific Standard Time

November 30th: 8:45 Pacific Standard Time

And tomorrow I might be on at around 6:35 AM Pacific Standard Time, or earlier.

Now, these times may change, depending on our schedule and stuff. I need to make in time to read my Bible, but I want to squeeze in playing Animal Jam for a little bit. I hope to see some of you one of those days! ^.^

When we get back, my mom is going to let me post up pictures of our trip! Since we're going on vacation, and it's not like our neighborhood, I can probably post up some hotel pictures!

My mom also allowed me to say where we're going! Which I'm super excited to tell you guys. XD

We're going to Disneyland! They have Christmas decorations up, so it's going to be super pretty. ^.^ I have money to spend on souvenirs and snacks, which I'm pretty excited about. I can't wait to show you guys!

While we're on vacation, I might pop in every now and then with a small blog post, or a comment. I thought it would be cool if we could talk a little bit in the comments while we're on vacation! I'll probably have some time to comment a little bit at night, and give you guys updates on the trip.

In California Adventure Park (Disneyland and California Adventure Park are two different parks, but they're still connected, and are both Disney themed, but uh- yeah I dunno how to explain it XDD) there's a Cars ride, and my sister-in-law wants me to go on it, and one of the deacons at church wants me to go on it. I was kinda scared to go on it when we last went to Disneyland/California Adventure Park two years ago, but I think this year I might go on it. Any fast moving rides I won't do, but my sister-in-law said it's not that fast. I'm still a bit weary about this. XDD

I'm kinda nervous about the trip, but hopefully it will be a lot of fun.

Can't wait to tell you guys all about it!

Here's todays Bible verse!

Romans 14:19

So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.

Really good verse!

God made you. Uniquely. Beautifully. Intentionally. Purposefully. Wonderfully.

See you on Animal Jam, or in the comments! ^.^

All The Beauty in Life!

Greetings Jammers, Arctic here!

Happy (one day late) American Thanksgiving everyone! Since I'm Canadian, my Thanksgiving was a month ago! However, that doesn't stop me from having an attitude of joy and thankfulness and celebrating with my American friends! I'm actually pretty glad that there's two different Thanksgivings - it gives me twice the chances to celebrate!

In truth, we should be thankful every day of the year- but having a special day to recognize it is an absolutely wonderful thing.

So, today I felt like doing a simple post of positivity. Things I love, things I appreciate, and things I find amusing!

Unrelated note: isn't it funny how the sample mannequin is a Snow Leopard but there's no Snow Leopard mannequin in the store yet?

Ahem. Carrying on: I am thankful for all my friends - on AJ and in real life. Friends are able to shape who we are, support us in our best and at our worst, and make many lasting memories. I am grateful for all of you here, and I can't wait to meet more friends in the future! I love you all. Here's to many great experiences!

I'm also thankful for my family! They support me in all I do, and I wouldn't be the same person without them. Hey- I wouldn't even be around without them!

I find it funny that when you spend so long with people you love, you really start to become like them. You think similarly, and always know how to make each other smile! Once, my teacher thought that my best friend and I were sisters (we don't look alike) just because we have similar mannerisms, haha!

I'm thankful for laughter. There's no feeling that can quite match laughing hard and loud with people you love. In contrast, sometimes sitting quietly side by side can mean just as much- and that's a beautiful thing.

There's so much beauty all around us- even if we forget about it sometimes. The steam rising up from your mug of hot chocolate, the way your loved ones always know how to cheer you up, the way dew sits on a blade of grass in the morning, the vibrancy of the sunrise, the intricate details in fall leaves and flower petals, and the way music can touch your very soul. All are beautiful and I am thankful for them all!

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in things that we tend to forget to just relax a little. Enjoy these beautiful things - the Lord wishes it so! All these wonderful things are created in God's divine wish - just as you are in his image. The colours, the sights, the sounds. Be honourable and thankful in all you do~!

Speaking of colours- do you think there are still colours that haven't been discovered? I went to a paint shop a while back and I'm always amazed by how many different colours there are- each one subtly different - no two exactly the same. Perhaps we are that way too - created specially; some of us are alike in some ways, but we all have our subtle unique differences that make us special.

Hm, this post went places. We started out with thankfulness, and now I'm relating paint colours to people, haha! Maybe I should get some more sleep...

In all seriousness - even though this is a day late I urge you to see the beauty in life and appreciate it regardless of whether it is Thanksgiving or not. What do you find beautiful? Tell me in the comments below- I would love to know!

Have a wonderful day my friends!

Give thanks!

So Much To Be Thankful For!

Helloooo everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving! Graciepopstar91 here!

I hope your Thanksgiving is going great! Currently I'm writing this on Wednesday night, but all day today we've been cooking.

Tomorrow (err today by the time you're reading this) we're going to be having turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, collard greens, cranberry sauce, olives, and rolls, and apple pie and pumpkin pie for dessert. What are you guys having? ^.^

This year, I feel I have so much to be thankful for.

This time last year, I don't think I would of imagined we'd be living in a new house, my anxiety wouldn't be as bad, and I'd have a closer relationship with Jesus.

Near Christmastime last year, I feel like I really wanted 'fame' for whatever reason.

As you may recall, during Christmastime Bepper buddied me, and I dunno- some people were fans of me (o.o). I think that got to my head a bit. People were constantly wanting to buddy me, and were begging for my seal. It honestly was annoying. XD

Though I felt like I was someone famous, I wrote that story 'Fame', that you may remember from Animal Jam Community. I think I was trying to prove that I wasn't like that. (To my self, or to my friends, I don't know. XD)

I remember once someone sent me a non-rare spiked collar, and I believe my friend asked me who sent it. I said, "Oh probably just a fan.". She said that I was acting like how I was acting in my 'Fame' story, and I'm pretty sure I tried to deny it. But now, I realize that she was so right. I was acting like that.

So, truly, I'm so thankful that I'm not like that, and I'm thankful for my friends still being my friends after all of that. I really, truly am thankful for you guys. ^.^

I'm also so thankful for pastor Louie Giglio. Since, I believe August, we've been watching his sermons a lot. I can't really put my finger on it, but ever since we started watching him, and I read his book Goliath Must Fall, I don't nearly have as much anxiety. He dealt with anxiety years ago, which I think really made me like his sermons. He actually dealt with anxiety, so I felt I could relate to him. My dad would talk about how to get through anxiety before, or my mom would say things about how to get over it, but I just couldn't relate to it. My mom had a bit of anxiety before, but I don't know if it was as frequent for her as it was me. But for Louie, he had anxiety every night. But eventually, he was able to get through it.

Once we were watching one of Louie's sermons, and he wanted their church to do a 31 day 'S.O.A.P' in Mark. S.O.A.P stands for scripture, observation, application, and prayer. It sounded good, and I decided to start that. Later I found on their website how much to read every day. I first started doing it on my Kindle, then on my birthday I got The Jesus Bible (Louie wrote some of the commentary's in it I believe, and I think the was the editor on them), and started reading it in there, and writing out my daily S.O.A.P on the side of the page. I did another S.O.A.P in Luke, then I went back where I was in Exodus. I think that really helped me read my Bible everyday. I got into the habit of reading it everyday for a long time, so I didn't want to stop.

So yes, I'm really thankful that God used Louie's sermons in my life. ^.^

Those are just a few things I'm thankful for. What are you thankful for this year? What are you and your family cooking this year? Be sure to comment down below!

Here's todays Bible verse!

Ephesians 2:8–9

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

God made you. Uniquely. Beautifully. Intentionally. Purposefully. Wonderfully.

Happy Thanksgiving!

AJ Blogger Museum?! Coming Soon to uhm a den near YOU!

Hey Jammers! Today I need to ask you all a few questions, for a really cool den I plan to do! So you know the mannequins? On Saturday, I had the idea to make an AJ Blogger Museum! With every single blogger's main look as a mannequin, and above them a masterpiece describing them!
Here are a few questions I need EVERYBODY (EVEN IF YOU DONT OWN A BLOG!!!) to answer! (If you cannot comment on blogs, then just tell me on AJ! and I'll write them down!)
Okay here are the questions!

When you joined Blogging:(Or the rouge date, but as close as you can get it :D)
When you joined AJ (Again, the rough date)
For example: Sarah enjoys blogging, exploring *blah blah blah blah*
Try to keep it kinda short, but not like 5 words short ;)
Main Look: (Animals and item colors included!)

And I will add your mannequin as soon as possible! (Masterpieces will take a little longer, and I may   have to change a few things so it gets approved)

Sorry for the short post! Lots of cleaning today as tomorrow is Thanksgiving! (ALREADY!?!?!? MAN THIS YEAR HAS GONE BY SO FAST!!!)

Have a good, happy, and thankful Thanksgiving everybody! God bless!

....Excuses. Not Gonna Lie. (and an Apology, and Compensatory Art.)

It's Karalee... and... I... didn't draw Thomas Brodie-Sangster.

I'm sorry, Lost!!

Mom and I were working on our novel (yes, we're writing a novel together) for lots of the day, and when we weren't doing that, we were at the library (I have previously mentioned she volunteers Tuesdays), or doing schoolwork, or....

--In essence, blame my mother for my post's lack of Thomas Brodie-Sangster! 😂😂

No, really, don't. 😋 Please do blame me for it, in all seriousness. I'm very sorry about the delay, and I'll have it for you by next week's post.

That is not the end of my post -- I can't just leave you all with that! I have some pictures of sketches to share, and one screenshot of some apparent Siri sass.

Apparently she needs me to ask nicely, because my cellular data connection at the time was fine.

This isn't actually a pencil sketch, it was finished in pen... a bit of Doctor Who chibi fanart, doodled onto a piece of laminated cardstock that came with a water bottle and details its features.

A Victorian-era girl, plainly dressed.

This girl was intended to be sort of pirate-y... she actually reminds me of my friend IRL... and yes, I actually have a friend in real life! Surprise! New thing from the reclusive blogger! 😁

(Actually she's technically a meet-once-a-week-to-babysit coworker, but we've gotten on well for quite a while now, so... friend.)

Ugh, this one looks funky. Attempted to draw a downward-tilted head, but just ended up with a squish-faced raccoon lady. To put it in fewer, less ridiculous words, perspective and shading needs work!

Graph paper doodle. Caption reads "Would this make a nice quilt?"

Teensy figure drawings. Caption reads "Bobblehead! Only 6 heads tall + hair".

A long-haired girl, trying to look scary. Did she succeed?

This is the one I like best. The posture worked out pretty well, I feel, and the expression works! YES!! *fistpump* Caption reads "IDK who she is, but I think she'd be a pretty good Doctor Who companion. What's she running from? Slitheen?" (P.S. That last bit is a fandom reference, for those who don't get it. Don't worry, you didn't miss much.)

Welp, that's all I got for you! Hopefully the plethora of pictures helped to make up for the lack of big-brown-eyed actors in orange coats. 😏

Goodbye for now! *waves* See you later! 😄

L'objet Rare Lundi!

Bonjour la Jam Jam's! Graciepopstar91 here, filling in for Coolcat! She will resume posting next week. ^.^

Today I'm here, giving you l'objet rare Lundi!
AKA the rare "object" Monday, hehe.

It's located in Jam Mart Clothing on the 6th page, and is being sold for 950 gems!

Aaaand here's how it looks on my arctic wolf!

Personally, I don't really like this RIM too much. It's kinda weird that it's kinda dark looking on my animal. I'm not really sure what I'd rate it, maybe 5/10? 3/10?

Be sure to comment down below what you think of todays RIM!

Here's todays Bible verse!

Psalm 100:4

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.

God made you. Uniquely. Beautifully. Intentionally. Purposefully. Wonderfully.

Stay positive, be yourself, and spread God's Word everyday!

Blogger spotlight Animal Jam Community

Hey everyone! I am at Sarah's party, it's getting crazy XD
(I really wanna record my dreams. I WILL PAY 100 DOLLARS TO RECORD MY DREAMS AND THEN BE ABLE TO WATCH THEM LATER, dreams with Dragons, being in movies like Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings/the hobbit) Ok that was just something we were talking about for a little bit just now XD

Ok, so last week I asked if I should start a Blog Spotlight after the buddy spotlight, and I got 3 yes's and 0 no's XD.
So let's just start by doing the authors of this blog, blog's XD
Let's just start with Arctic's blog, The Animal Jam Community!

I write for the Animal Jam Community too! I missed my post this week though because I was super busy and forgot D: SO sorry about that arctic!
Anyway, I really like this blog! :D
It's had like, 30 probably more authors I once was counting all them, I forgot what the real number was but it was something around like 30 O,O And it started in2010, that's 8 years o,o
The current authors are
Ja983 (me XD)

The Bibliophile Tag! (so many books!)

Hey Jammers, Arctic here!

Now, I know a lot of people have done the Bibliophile tag recently, but I really would like to as well! It seems like such a cool tag to do, and since Gracie tagged me, I'll be doing it as well!

Here we go~!

The rules:

- Give the person who tagged you a never-ending supply of cookies - HERE YA GO GRACIE! 10,000 BOXES OF MAPLE COOKIES!
- Answer all the questions and use the blog graphic for this tag somewhere in your post - Done!
- Pass along the tag to at least five other people - I'll certainly try!
- Wear a sweater (okay, this is optional...but why wouldn't you want to??) Aww dangit, gotta go get changed!

Alrighty! I got my sweater on, Gracie is probably buried in maple cookies by now, and I'm ready to go! Let's do this!! *intense music begins*

Hoom hoom... I have to say my book of Children's Poems. I've had it for as long as I can remember and so many of my great childhood memories involve that book. I still read it today! I'll see if I can find a copy online!
Here we go, same cover and everything!

Agh there are multiple books that fit this title... I have to say... One of the Harry Potter Books or one of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole books. I got the entire Harry Potter series for my birthday, and finished the entire first book that night - I couldn't put it down!! As for the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, it used to be my favourite book series back when I was in Grade 5. I remember loving the second book - the Journey so much!

Book with a weird cover... Book with a weird cover... I always thought that the Golden Tree (part of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series) had a weird cover. It always scared me, and that was one of my least favourite books in the series too. Coincidence? I don't really know!

That'll have to be all of my fully-illustrated editions of the Harry Potter books! Each one cost me upwards of $40 Canadian with some being around $55 on amazon! Luckily, I was able to get two of mine for $27 canadian and one for $40. This is very expensive, but considering it's full colour, hard cover, very large, and that I live in Canada- it's understandable!

Hmmmmmmmmm.... Difficult difficult! There are many wonderful classic novels I've read! Sherlock Holmes... The Further Adventures of Lad... Lord of the Rings... To Kill a Mockingbird... In the end, I have to say The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery takes the cake. It is such a simple, beautiful story, and warms my heart.

Hmm! The Land of Stories series by Chris Colfer would be one of them. I saw the title, saw the cover, was fascinated, and bought it without really being certain if I'd like it or not. At the time, it was an on-going series (it's complete now). I've read every book and loved them all!

Ack! The poems book I mentioned earlier is definitely one of my favourite books from my childhood... Another one would be all the "I Spy" books! I used to spend my evenings after school in elementary trying to find everything with my Dad. Ah, memories~! The one in the photo is the fantasy edition- one of my favourites!

I'm not sure if I can find it on the internet, but an indie Canadian poet was under my mom's care decades ago in the hospital once, and she gave my mom a signed copy of her latest book of poems. I found this book, and loved it immediately! It's full of beautiful poignant poems that really speak true to the Canadian prairie. Aha~ I found a picture!

The last book of the Land of Stories series really didn't meet my expectations. It was an excellent series, and a good book too, but I was rather disappointed by the end. I really felt like more could have been done with it, especially since I enjoyed the rest of the series so much! Maybe the book before it raised my expectations a little too high, haha, as the second last one was my favourite!

Frankenstein had a very unique format, though I don't recommend any younger folks to read it until they're older because of the subject matter. I had to read it last year for Grade 10 English and it was very interesting! It's written in a format that's called a Frame Narrative (which basically means it's a story inside a story)

Harry Potter, Harry Potter, oi oi oi! Man oh man what a fantastic series. The characters are believable and you can empathize with all of them to some extent - even if they're an antagonist! The character development is spot on, and so is the storyline and- I could go on and on!

Phew! I think that just about covers it! Looks like the font got a bit messed up in places... Whoops!

Who to tag.... It seems like most of the people I know have already been tagged! Whoever wants to do this tag, then, you are now welcome to do so if you haven't already! I'd love to hear your answers!

That's all for today folks, see you soon!
