Happy Belated Valentines Day, And A Craft!

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINES DAY!!!!! graciepopstar91 here! I know Valentines Day was yesterday but when I got time to do a blog post yesterday it was late. Anyways, today I'm going to show you a cute Valentines Day bookmark! Even though Valentines Day was yesterday this craft is so cute you could do it any day of the year! Lets get started!

Supplies

1. Paint swatch (you can get one at a hardware store near the paint supplies) 
2. A ruler
3. A pen or pencil
4. Scissors 
5. A hole puncher that has the shape of a heart (you can get this at a hobby store) 
6. A circle hole punch 
7. Ribbon 

Today we will be making.. 

This bookmark!

First make a mark on your paint swatch at the beginning mark but making it 1 and 1 quarter inch away as shown above.

Place your ruler on the line that you made on your paint swatch and make your ruler straight then make a line with your pen or pencil pressing up against your ruler. 

You should have a straight line as shown above.

Now with your scissors cut on the line you made with your pen or pencil.

Your almost done! 

Now with your hole puncher that has the shape of a heart, line up your hole puncher in the middle of one of your colors and repeat this step until all the colors have 1 heart in it. How to line it up is shown below.

If your hole punch has arrows try to find the middle of the color with the arrows!

Now your paint swatch should look like this.

Now with your circle hole punch put a hole at the top in the middle.

Now cut a little more than 5 inches of ribbon.

Now evenly slip the ribbon through your hole.

Now make a double knot as shown above.

Trim off any uneven ribbon..

And there you have it! Your very own homemade bookmark! You can make as many as you want, if you are having a Valentines Day party these make great party favors! Me and my mom actually used these bookmarks as party favors!
