It's Been Awhile!

Well, hello there! I see it has been a while since I last did a post. I seriously did not mean for it to be this long, and I know that I said I would start posting more over the holidays. Well, um.. 😂😂 I'm not sure if that happened the way I wanted it to. I've just had no motivation to actually sit down and write a blog post. 

 

I'm not sure if people still even read this blog anymore, since we have been inactive, but if you still do, I just want to say thank you for taking the time in your day to read this blog post.

 

I don't know if I'll actually post about Animal Jam anymore. I think if anything, I will post more about poems, music, and the Christian life. 

 

Well, I suppose I'll give you a little peak into what my life has been for a little while! I have been busy with school, we actually got sick for a little bit and I ended up getting behind so I'm still working on catching up with that. I have discovered a passion for playing the keyboard, and also the violin. Awhile back, about a year or so ago, I also discovered a talent for singing. Most of my life has pretty much been the same as it has been, just with different things that come up along the way. 

 

Lately, I have seen God work in my life. There's some things that can seem so small to people, but so big to me. I have been focusing on my actual Spiritual life, rather than on a game that is practically useless and just a thing that will perish away.

 

I would like to share this little poem with you, and I hope that it can speak to your heart.

It's so cold.

It feels like it's out of control.

I know you're molding me,

But I feel so trolled.

 I'll hold onto your hand,

even though I'm not in the promised land,

I'll continue to walk with you, holding hands.

I have a load to carry,

But I know I can lay it down.

Though my heart is heavy,

and I know that life isn't always merry,

I know that you always will carry the load that I feel forced to carry.

And in the midst of darkness,

I pray you'll hold onto me,

just when I feel like it's too heavy.

²⁹ Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
