Butterflies!

Hey jammers! graciepopstar91 here! As you may or may not know, Animal Jam is FULL of Halloween items. And Halloween kinda creeps me out and I dont celebrate it. So I'm going to do a post thats not related to Animal Jam. Its going to be about.. Butterflies! About two or three weeks ago me and my mom ordered caterpillars online! So on October 15th I got them! When I got them they didnt do anything expect eat and eat and crawl around! But then a few days later they went into a sleeping bag like chrysalis! (ch-ris-a-lis). Now lots of people know thats just what they do. But did you know that while there in their chrysalis if another caterpillar gets close near it, it shakes like crazy because they think its a enemy to them? Pretty awesome! Then a few days later they all of the caterpillars came out of their chrysalis's!


 The kind of butterfly I got was a painted lady butterfly. Heres a picture!



If you have seen monarch butterflies before, you can tell they look a lot alike!
 You know why? Monarchs are poisonous to most animals, so God made the painted lady to look like the monarch so animals wont eat them i guess!

If you do get these caterpillars i have a weird tip but it helps. Do not name your caterpillars! I did this once and got attached to them and got really sad when i had to let them go.

This is so true. I have trouble with this, but just know God knows what tomorrow has in store and you cant change it. So why worry about tomorrow? :)
