Christmas Outfits for Winter!

HEY Y'ALL! I'm not sure if any of y'all are like me or not, but I love expressing myself with the clothes that I wear!! Therefore, here's some of the perfect outfits to wear for this time of the year!

1. Jeans, T-shirt, Blazer

I love the way that this looks! Put on your favorite jeans, put on a simple T-Shirt, and add a blazer on top! It will make you warm, but cute at the same time!

2. Maxi Dress + Trench Coat

You can have a long maxi dress, (velvet is beautiful!) with a trench coat to keep you warm. It's a beautiful combo!

3. Jeans, T-Shirt, Flannel

So, it's basically the same as the first one, but instead you have a flannel! Depending on the flannel, it may give a little bit more autumn vibes, but if you happen to have a plaid flannel it will look very Christmassy!

4. Sweater + Leggings/Jeans

Sweaters are obviously a necessity this time of year!  You could either pair a sweater with leggings or jeans, or even sweatpants... which will be coming up in the next option!

5. Sweatpants, T-shirt, Long Sleeved Jean Jacket

This is such a comfy look, but it's so cute!!! This will be perfect for when you want to be comfortable while going out, but presentable enough.

Alright!!! That's 5 ideas for this season, I hope y'all enjoy!!

Luke 2:9 KJV

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

Favorite Christmas MoviesπŸŽ„

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening... whenever y'all are reading this!!! Thank you so much for coming back and reading these posts, it means a lot! πŸ’› Alright, let's get into this post!!!

Today's post is about my favorite Christmas movies! Obviously, you already know that if you read the title. 🀣 I don't watch too many Christmas movies, I normally stick to the main ones. So, this post may be a little bit boring... but if y'all haven't watched any of these, y'all are missingggg out! They're so good, I never get sick of them. 🀣

1. Frosty The Snowman

Alright! I was debating whether I liked Rudolph better, or Frosty... but I think Frosty is my favorite. 🀣 Frosty the Snowman is always so happy, it makes me happy! Therefore, that's my reason for this one... Also, if you're looking for a shorter movie, go for this one! It's only about 30 minutes long, so it's pretty short, but it's perfect if you want to watch something that is half decently quick!

2. Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer

Obviously Rudolph had to be on this list! Rudolph is SOOO good. It's an hour long movie, obviously longer than Frosty. If you wanna get into the Christmas spirit, this will be the perfect one for you... it's such a classic, and Rudolph was sooo cute!!

3. Mr. Grinch

Dr. Suess' The Grinch, is an amazing movie! It basically explains how the Grinch stole Christmas... yeah, it's a pretty good one. It's such a classic!!! And just a reminder... don't be the grinch this Christmas, be happy! πŸ˜‰

4. My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas

A lot of y'all reading this, probably only know the newer version of my little pony. But let me tell you- this movie is SUCH a good movie. It was made back in 2005, before they changed the ponies to look newer.

5. A Charlie Brown Christmas

I don't know if it's just me, but I love The Charlie Brown!!! Therefore, this is for sure one of my favorites!!!

Alrighty y'all! That's it for today! I hope you enjoyed!

Luke 2:8 KJV

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

Looking Back at Christmas/December Posts Through the Years (Blogmas Day 13)

Good evening everyone! It's so good to see you today. Sorry about not having a post on Saturday, I ended up working an eleven hour shift on Saturday, and was too tired to do anything but go to sleep when I got home. So, that's exactly what I did!

So today we are going to be looking at blog posts from Christmas past. So I thought it would be fun to highlight one post from each year the blog has been around for, starting back in 2015.

Thursday, December 17, 2015

As far as I can tell, this post written Gracie, was announcing the  AJFC  Christmas Party! I know back in 2016 I went to my first one and it was amazing. We had so much fun at these parties. I actually miss the whole old crew thinking about this. But it is fun to see it being announced, even though it ended up getting postponed in the end, and actually I'm not even really sure she ended up having it. I looked back through January and February of 2016 for a post announcing it and didn't see anything.

Friday, December 2, 2016

Another post by Gracie, but this one is ultra special. Everyone who knew us in 2016-2017, knew of Sarahkey8, typically going by Sarah. This was a special post because not only was it an update post, but it was the announcement of a new author, which obviously was Sarah! She was great at posting, I really loved her posts. Unfortunately, as we got older we went our own ways and she hasn't posted for a long time.

Saturday, December 23, 2017

This one won for simply having a great intro. Ja, seriously rocked her intros. They grabbed your attention, made you smile and laugh. Again, it's really sad to look back on some of these posts written by people who are no longer in the community, but then again I can't say much because I went missing for a whole year. However, I never said "goodbye."

Wednesday, December 5, 2018

I realize this is my own post and not technically a "Christmas" post, but as I was looking through the December posts of 2018. I saw this one and remembered how long I spent on this post to get it just right. I just had to make this one a highlight, cause I was in love with this song then and still am to this day, cause that says something. LOL

Friday, December 27, 2019

This post which was written by my sister, Housemom418, was ultra special because she announced the adoption of our little puppy. After the death of our dog, who we owned for 9 years it was rough going through the holidays without a dog to share holiday meals and presents to. So, getting Missy was a huge blessing and surprise for us on that Christmas Eve night that she became ours.

Friday, December 4, 2020

Unfortunately, my sister was the only posting in 2020, so there were only two posts to choose from. I chose this one cause it announced an story contest. This is exactly how my sister and I landed an author position on this blog. We had entered and won the story contest of 2018. Yep, that's right it's been 3 years, of which I must say they have been pretty great.

Well, that's a look back through 6 years. It's crazy to think that 6 years has gone by so quickly, but that's why this blog was created. It was created to be a time capsule in a way for future Animal Jam players to look back on the earlier years of the game, played by those original players.

Verse of the day:

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. - John 20:21 (KJV)

God is enough. If I have Him, I have all I need. - Unknown Author

Favorite Gifts Previously

Heyyy y'all! Welcome back to another blog post! Today, we're going to go over my favorite gifts previously! I'm gonna start with my favorite one...🀣

1. Jesus Coming, and dying

Obviously, I'm the most grateful for this because that's the only way I got saved. I am so grateful for it, because that's the only way I have joy!

2. My Family, Church Family, & Friends

I am so grateful for people who will encourage me, every single time I need it. Sometimes, despite having everything I could ever wish for, I have breakdowns from stress and whatever else is going on. I am so grateful to have my family, my church family, and friends who will always be there when I need it. There has been countless occasions where some of the people at my church who mean so much to me, say something which seems so random to them, but it's exactly what I needed. We all need those people.

3. A Puppy!

My favorite gift by far has for sure been my puppy, who I got for Christmas two years ago!! It was so sweet, and of course she's sooooo cute.

4. A Tablet!

My parents surprised me with a tablet this year early for Christmas, it was sooo sweet and I really appreciate it!!

5. Scrunchies, Nail Polish, Jewelry

Out of my sister and I, I have always kind of been the one who is a little bit more girly... Therefore, anything girly, I really appreciate it because I'll use it like- everyday. 🀣

Alrighty! That's it for today!! :)

Luke 2:6

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

Bullet Journal for the Month of December

HEY Y'ALL! Welcome back to another blogmas post!! I don't know if it's just me, but I've been loving blogmas lately!! It has been pretty fun! Time consuming, for sure... but other than that, it's been going great! Alright, so, some of y'all may have never heard of a bullet journal, while the rest of you may be familiar with it. A bullet journal is just a journal to keep track of your day to day life, like your schedule, your mood, your goals, etc etc.

So.. for the month of December, I have decided to do one! These are so fun to create, because you can use your creativity to create it!

I may add some more pages to my bullet journal later on, but for right now I don't have much of anything to keep track of. Pretty much all I have, are just the dates, and that's okay!

Alright! So starting on page 1, normally this is where people go crazy on all of the decorations! This time, I decided to do snowflakes. Although, I've only seen snow when I was little, and once a couple years ago, snow always reminds me of this time of the year and it makes me happy! So, therefore, I decided to do snowflakes! I really like how I did them, I added a little bit more detail to them than what I originally would... just because I felt like they didn't look cute before. 🀣 But, now they do, and that's all that matters!

Alright, onto the next page! So, this page is just your average calendar. It shows you what day each date is on, and obviously goes up until the very last day of the month. I decided to make the dates red, because the theme for this month for my bullet journal is an icy blue color and red. Therefore, the days of the week are written in the icy blue color that I was talking about, and the dates are in red!

Alright, next up is a question! I don't think many people really do random questions in their bullet journal.. but I do. 🀣 The reason why I do this, is because it's fun, but not only that... I like to be able to go back on the previous years and see what I wrote down! I know that not everybody likes Christmas, but it's my favorite holiday because of what it is all about. However, not every year I always get into the Christmas spirit as much as others! This year, I am really excited to be blessed with this time of year!

So, that is all that is on my bullet journal this year! It's pretty basic, and a really short post... but I hope y'all enjoyed it! Here's today's Bible Verse!

Luke 2:5 KJV

To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

Animal Jam Update (Blogmas Day 9)

Hey, guys! It's so good to see you all. I can't believe it's Blogmas Day 9 already. It's actually really cool that I've been able to keep up with it. Although, I've been staying up till 11:30 to finish it; I've been able to keep up. Anyways, let's get into today's update.

So, as suspected Animal Jam's update is not all that fascinating; with only 3 pages this week it's quite depressing.

To be quite honest, I haven't been on AJ for probably close to a year, if not over. I guess I somewhat outgrew it, just like many of the other bloggers. So, seeing AJ for the first time in that long was a little shocking, but at the same time much hasn't changed.

Anyway, first page shows new items that can be bought at the Jamaaiday Jam Party, which appears to happen every 2- 2½ hours. They are peppermint themed, which is super cool and festive! So, be sure to check them out if that's something you're interested in.

Next up, we have an update that some of the Eggstravaganza pets are leaving, which includes a poodle moth, vulture, and a millipede. They hatch in 3 days and are member only. So if you have a membership, be sure to check these out before they are gone until next year.

Lastly, we just have a simple ad revealing that the have an app now! Which honestly has been out forever, and probably all those who play actually know this, so not really sure as to why this needs to be in the update, but whatever I guess. 🀷

Anyways, looks like that's a wrap for tonight. I'm just gonna say, AJ isn't like it used to be which is pretty sad actually, but I guess it happens. See ya on Saturday!
