Rare Spiked Wristband Giveaway, And The 4th Annual Story Contest!

Heyyyyyy everyone! Hopefully you're having a fantastic Monday afternoon! I know this isn't my day to post, but since I never posted yesterday I thought I might as well post today. XD Sunday really isn't  a good day for me to post, because I'm always so tired from getting up early to set up for church, so by the middle of the day I really don't feel like posting. I might swap my posting day's from Sunday to Tuesday... I dunno.

On the schedule for AJFC's birthday extravaganza, is a giveaway! This time I'm going to be giving away a rare purple spiked wristband!

*CORRECTION: earlier I said I was giving away a purple spiked wristband, it's actually a rare red short spiked wristband. I'm giving a purple wristband away to the winner of the fashion show. Why did I say I was giving away a purple one in the giveaway??? XDD

Now onto the second part of this post, which is pretty exciting!

Every year since 2016, I've held a story contest, which has always been one of the big highlights of the year. This year will be the 4th time we've done this, which is super exciting! I've loved reading all the stories that have been entered in previous years, and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this year.

This years theme is going to be...

"Summer Mystery"

To clarify, I don't mean mystery by murder mystery, or anything weird like that. By summer mystery, I want to see something related to summer break, and a big mystery that has taken place in a group of friends. Maybe one of the friends has left the group notes around Jamaa, but nobody seems to know what it means. Something like that, I think would be a lot of fun!

Here are the contest rules!

Rules:

1. Your story must be 3-5 chapters long. Each chapter must be 750 (minimum) -950 words (maximum) words.
2. To enter, you must put your story in the comments of AJFC (please put your username in the Name/Url to enter), or give me a private link to your story using GoogleDocs, or a private link through your blog.
3. Please do NOT include ANY personal information in your story. Such as your phone number, or your parents phone number, your name, email, home address, etc. If you do, you will be disqualified from the contest. 
4. Please do NOT copy ANYONE else's stories.
5. You MUST have your stories in the comments by July 4th, 2019. And for safety reasons, I will only have your story published in the comments for a few minutes, then save it in my writing program, so no one can cheat and use parts of your story in theres. 
6. Please do NOT include ANYTHING: inappropriate, anything with rude humor, anything with language, drugs, anything with God's name in vain (such as Oh My ...), ghosts/spooky things in your story. If you do, you will disqualified. 
7. Please, do NOT find stories online to enter in this contest. 
8. The theme of your story must be both Animal Jam and "summer mystery" themed!

So you can enter the story contest anytime between now, and July 4th! The winner will be announced on July 7th.

However, if you're already an author on AJFC, you can definitely still enter! And if you end up winning, you'll get a spiked collar or wristband on Animal Jam instead.

I know last years contest was Christian themed, and I realized that a lot of people probably didn't enter because of that. Over the past year, I started to realize that not every single party or contest I have on the blog has to be Christian themed just because I'm a Christian. I realized that reaching people for Christ isn't going to happen if I try making people follow a bunch of rules to enter a contest that's Christian themed, if that makes sense. Instead, we reach people for Christ by showing our love for them, not guilting someone into something, and refusing them acceptance into a contest just because they aren't "one of us". That's why this year, the story contest doesn't have a Christian theme. If you want to write your story with a Christian theme, that's totally fine! But you don't have to do that. Everyone is welcome here, and the last thing I want to do is make someone upset because they can't enter, just because they aren't a Christian.
