Hey, Jammer's! CoolCat here with another post! And Today I'm going to be sharing some real life facts about lemurs! Since they are the newest animal to Animal Jam, I thought they would be a great pick! I will be sharing 5 facts today. Lets get started!
1. Lemurs live in trees which is why they are called arboreal.
2. Lemurs often feed on nuts and fruits that they find in their habitat. They will consume insects and even small animals when the fruits are not in season.
3. Lemurs use their vocalization and scent marks to communicate.
4. Lemurs don't have claws like many people believe.
5. Lemurs don't have very many natural predators. But the one lemurs have to be wary of is the Fossa, the main natural predator of the lemur. The Fossa is a cat like mammal that is only found in the area of the Madagascar Islands.
And there you have it! Comment below if you found these facts interesting!
As always. Bye, Jammer's! And ~Jam On!~
